Board of directors have some stock options and act in the public interest....not all make more money from said company. There are hedge fund managers that have turned 250million plus a year....ain't no one else in the organizations making that type of money.
Black poor would be middle class or better in any other country....the standard of living is higher and we work less hours. Broke black folks have luxuries of the rest of the world.
Has anyone taken an economics class? Consumer usually has power and outsourcing makes things affordable...i an not buying from only blacks unless its cheaper. Every entry into a business needs to lower prices and maintain quality or it's a failure.
Brothas need to open tanning saloons in white neighborhoods if they really want to bring money to the community cause you pay taxes where ya live as well. Some of yall sound like the rednecks talking about jobs moving overseas when it benefits the American people. I mean damn....it's a global economy brothas can at least cater business to white folks and get that money, lol.

Guess what? You can be an owner if you invest even small amounts instead of cell phones and sneakers and grow it.

Buying\Trading stock and controlling the economics of your community are two entirely different things
Although I think most black americans have no other real option besides becoming an employee and working for someone else (most people in every race are followers), we need to get our hustlers and business minded people to create companies to hire our black employees. Great statement someone made in here about you can´t pass a degree down. But u can pass a business down and that´s what other races do. At least have that option for our children to take over the family business if they want. Most black people are totally ignorant to this and push college, college, college as if that´s still a meal ticket to a decent life. Our older family members are living in the past and its up to us to lead the way and show them that this aint 1970 anymore. But again, the hustlers in our communities gotta take the lead, the employee minded folks aren´t gonna be able to take this $1 Trillion consumer power and keep it in our hoods and build.
No community leader,teacher, or even parent(sadly) has as much influence in our community as Hip-Hop/Rap music does.

Its crazy too cause we are naturally an entreprenuerial people. I was reading a book for one of my economic classes about black business right after the Civil War and we had a gang of businesses. I mean, we were segregated, we HAD to open up and produce the things we needed. But we know what happened to that.
