No community leader, teacher, or even parent(sadly) has as much influence in our community as Hip-Hop/Rap music does.:wow:
I'm surprised it hasnt come up yet...

Its one of those cold truths :to:
Must be why so many friends want to be entertainers. From worldstar to demonic filth like Little Wayne.

But honestly, friend, theres a wedge between every age group. No one wants to hear a mentor and mentors have given up on the youth so theres no teachers. With no one to teach the youth but demons, the future is solidified for a lot of friends, filth.

Its so demonic, friends.

Its crazy too cause we are naturally an entreprenuerial people. I was reading a book for one of my economic classes about black business right after the Civil War and we had a gang of businesses. I mean, we were segregated, we HAD to open up and produce the things we needed. But we know what happened to that.

Even if we went back to segregation, there will be a bunch of Hispanic/ Asian businesses in our hoods since any non white race is "colored"

Is there a population of SKILLED people living in poverty?
seems like a large part of the arab spring was because of disgruntled young educated arabs with no opportunties. the fascist growth in europe seems to be of similar origin...

now that i think of it. the occupy wall street crew included quite a few grads who were broke and hopeless

In terms of setting trends and everything, Hip Hop is pretty high up since we devalue education, wealth building, and common sense.
I think Hip Hop doesn't have that much of a direct effect on black youth in the
that way unpaid bills, shytty teachers and a gang controlled neighborhood would.
Not to mention their peers that would have more of a
direct influence than any song would :yeshrug:
Whether they're in the burbs or in the hood.

We have to understand the flow of drugs is permitted to flood black neighborhoods.

Broken homes are the root problem for sure, but hip-hops influence and impact on the youth is undeniable.
