Christian to AEW is a good move ... I know many fans want AEW to only bring in the bingo hall darlings and Tokyo Dome heroes ... but that shyt doesn't sell on a mainstream level. no one knows who those people are.

AEW needs to continue bringing in popular talent who the casual viewer recognizes (as well as continue developing their own young and original talent) .... their interactions with Shaq has been good as well. anything to move the needle and grab attention.

I may be wrong but I doubt that wrestling is getting new fans these days and just the ones that have already been watching. The ratings have been pretty much the same across the board for past few years so I don't see an influx of new fans coming in no matter what any of these companies have been doing lately. They may have someone do something for a brief storyline or moment but nothing that really adds lots of fans and keeps them around. Like how many people that post in TSC had their first post in here within the past three months or even six months?
