I gotta go back and watch the Ironman match from the beginning because I dozed off several times during it but I did see the ending. I can’t say it was bad or good and I thought MJF would retain the championship.
The issue I have is that this would’ve been the perfect final match for the feud but it was the first match which is weird. From what I saw the match itself was good though. Brock/Kurt battled several times before they’re Ironman match. HBK/Bret had matches before they’re Ironman match at Wrestlemania 12. I just don’t get the logic I guess.
Another issue is Danielson…not his wrestling ability but as championship contender I don’t take him seriously anymore. He’s in a weird spot of being a top guy that doesn’t want to be the top guy. I think that has hurt his momentum but it’s self sabotage for the betterment of putting over talent.
I haven’t looked at Bryan the same since he took that L to Daniel Garcia and the sad thing was that Garcia didn’t capitalize off of it. Now he’s back to being Jericho’s food carrier again.
