I'll probably do a CAW and get my ass kicked by Serpentico in the first match. :mjcry: Haven't touch any sort of fighting or combat game in over a decade.
I used to play fighting games for money, but now I can't even beat the final boss in some games. The controls are too complex! I need a degree from M.I.T. just to throw a regular fireball! :damn:

You sounds like me when I talk about video games. shyt has gotten too complex for me. Why can’t we go back to the single times of the SNES? :sadbron:

Because technology has advanced. We should want things to progress. Unfortunately, time & technology can't wait for dinosaurs like us.
We have to either get with the times, or get left behind.

Iight, spun the block a few more times. I like this game lol. Its limited game modes gonna hurt its replay value though if they don’t update the creation mode. I’m sure they will

I think 2k games have that same problem where the game runs fine but the lack of stuff to do kinda hurts its replay value. Creations are the only thing keeping people on those formulaic ass 2k games.. which aren’t bad, don’t get me wrong.. but being able to grab up wrestlers from any era that look better than in game models at this point is what keeps people playing those games

If FF can catch a couple updates on that creation mode, it’ll be a homerun mane. Gameplay is fun. Clunky but fun.

I would say this is more wrestlemania 2000 than it is no mercy. The sequel to this is what’s really gonna flames but this is a good starting point to me.

Edit: this is all based on running a bunch of exhibitions btw. I haven’t even tried the story mode or anything.

Three years and this is what they came up with:francis:. If you haven't bought it yet trust me when I say you can wait until black Friday. This is also a perfect example of just because you play games, doesn't mean that you can create one. This game feels nothing like No Mercy or HCTP, it just feels like a cheap imitation of both games. Thank God my sister gave me a gift card, because I would've been pissed if I bought this myself. I would say that this game is something to play on the weekend, but you're not going to get a ton out of it.

Tangent time.
I was late to the party with LOST, so I planned to binge watch it during my vacation some years ago. But then I heard that the final season was so bad that it ruined the entire series; and thus, I never watched the show. The same story holds true for why I never watched Dexter.
Breh you need to watch seasons 1-4 of Dexter that was some good fukkery… read through the threads if still not convinced. Seasons 5-8… skip if you want to.

I forgot I had PSN cards I was saving to use for another pre-order but idk I might take a bite at this since I had them for awhile. Idk the reviews are coming off like a 50/50 deal.

63 on metacritic based on 29 reviews

I’ll say this.. if you’re an AEW fan it’s worth a purchase just to play as the AEW roster in an AEW branded game. Having legitimate versions of their signature moves and not needing substitutions is cool

If you have disposable income, gone head and buy that. Now if the 60 is something you don’t really have like that to just blow on a video game, you’re better off waiting for a deal.

Game feels like a nice starting point and 6 months out it’ll probably be a much better game with updated modes, dlc patches etc. but as is, it’s not a whole lot. It’s fun on the surface, but I can’t see myself spending mad hours on it. Not yet at least.

But even with that said, its gameplay is fun. You’ll get some burn out of playing random exhibitions

seems like a game that'd be fun to play with your friends but one that will collect dust once you complete the story mode

When Dexter was on, I was heavy into True Blood & Shameless. The last season of True Blood was so bad, that I never even gave Dexter a trial watch.
