Remember when there was all this budding hype for GCW leading up to that The Wrld On GCW 2022 show and they ended up putting on one of the worst shows of the year?

Even got me watching that dumbass show. They went all out for that card and only managed one decent match that would a lot of times be considered one of the worst matches on an AEW PPV, and then they paced it so poorly the main event only got like 6 minutes.

They went from being an indie with a ton of momentum and being called potentially the next top indie since ROH was dying out. Now no one gives a fukk about that company and Tony Khan won't even let his wrestlers go there

Breh I wanted so badly to enjoy GCW when I had Fite+ for a spell. They were gloating about getting the Fite deal because you can watch all of their events, instead of paying 20 a pop for them shyts. Then it made me realized that the promotion was a fluke from the start. It's basically a bunch of CZW marks and wrestling fans that got soured over the direction of Deej, that they decided to do their own CZW, only to realize that it's basically a CZW at home with old farts for wrestlers doing random gimmicks for the final feeling to be restored with the crowd. They have a bank robbing meth head as the ACE of the promotion. Like really


I ended up watching more of the Nu CZW over a prime GCW last year. I was so pissed at The Wrld flopping, that the company ended up being dead to me. The gall of having Allie Katch coming in like a prize fighter just to get shytted on hard by Ruby Riot of all wrestlers.

Dude would be the type that trades in a PS3 at Gamestop with nut stains near the logo, roaches coming out of the vents, and one shytty game (Haze).
