If these cities are viable, why don't people from the U.S. make a move? Language & culture for one.... Another one is per capita income & quality of life. I would move if knew that it was a soft landing.

One thing I tend to notice whenever people talk about Africa, is they tend to not mention the beaches.
I've never been, but some of these pictures have shown some of the nicest images of beaches I've ever seen:
Not too many people can say they were swimming with penguins:
Africa is surrounded by water, yet people rarely bring up the fact that it has great beaches.
Africa right in the mix of everything too. For whatever reason if you ever want to vacation to Europe from Ghana/Nigeria you're one 5 hour flight away from Italy.
edit: Dang I didn't see the full premise of your thread OP, not trying to derail it. Nonetheless there are some good shots of some coastal cities in the videos.
