People aren't allowed to make mistakes? Dude was already tried in court.

People are absolutely allowed to make mistakes. But if you don't recognize you made a mistake, genuinely, rather than the doublespeak your legal team spews out, then I have zero sympathy.

Breh you are killing me here. I don't HAVE to counter with what you said...MANY players have lost endorsements for LESS. The PROOF is out there.

Show me the proof. The only person lost his is Peterson, no one player would have lose their if they would do a simple protest.

The NFL is acting in the interest for its players and the league...you do NOT want to put your company in a position in where it can enrage the people who make you your money.

Let's say the NFL did NOT act this way.

Public opinion CAN start to think THAT:
The NFL condones the act of AP beating his kid with a tree branch, the sponsors condone the action as well because they are still throwing millions at them to help build a league that openly allows child abuse.

Public possible response?
Drop the NFL network, don't watch the games and not support any of the sponsors that keeps the NFL pockets fat. People have money and they dictate what is right or wrong. Not a simple ass court ruling, the court ruling is not jeopardizing the league's money...the PUBLIC CAN.

You guys have NO ARGUMENT here. fukk AP, you want the NFL possibly jeopardize the earning potential of THOUSANDS of people over a dumbass who doesn't seem to understand what he did? LMFAO get the fukk out of here.

NFL ALREADY acted by putting him on players exemption list, his case closed and could fined him for what games his missed. And no one but a few would have care about it.

Openly allows child abusers? :mindblown: NFL told him not the play while the trail was ongoing.

Sponsors condone the action, GTFO. Sponsors didn't shyt when Goodell lied and give Rice that bs two game suspension. They talk but that's it. Sponsors isn't severing ties with a multi-billion dollar mine.

You defending the shield too hard.

Let me see if I understand you - you want the court of law to include any possible prior crimes when making decisions on a crime? When someone is on trial for theft, the court should punish them for prior thefts they probably did?

I honestly have no problem with the punishment. I have a problem with Goodell suddenly finding his moral compass to get on a bully pulpit he selectively built in this case.

A person of genuine character doesn't wait to be aired out to suddenly do what's right. He got all flowery about Petersons behavior while doing little when seeing the rice videoing his prior.

His words are nothing more but "I have a soul I didn't show last time" PR.

They were looking into it IMMEDIATELY.

I'm done addressing someone who refuses to do research.

I'm done addressing someone who refuses to do research.

Anheuser-Busch has now issued a statement expressing that it is “increasingly concerned” over the way the NFL has handled its domestic violence troubles.

Covergirl, which is the NFL’s official beauty sponsor, has not pulled its sponsorship. It has, however, responded to manipulation of one of its ads that depicts a Baltimore Ravens fan with a black eye. The altered photo made the rounds on Twitter in the past several days, often accompanied by #GoodellMustGo.

But none of them sever ties with the NFL. Like I said, you clown. :mjlol:

Sponsors condone the action, GTFO. Sponsors didn't shyt when Goodell lied and give Rice that bs two game suspension. They talk but that's it. Sponsors isn't severing ties with a multi-billion dollar mine.
