:dead:THEY LITERALLY CANT
DUE TO THE KAWHI/ZAZA RULE

They need to figure it out
But I don't think any solution involving a cap of any sort on the number of 3s taken is the way to go.
Players/teams shouldn't have to keep count of the number of a particular shot taken or any other legal basketball play.
What's next ? cap the number of dribbles or passes ?
It's just a terrible idea.
Please don't ever bring that up again or just flat out remove the 3pt shot completely from the game and problem solved right ?
Yea....

"Historically, at times, we've moved the 3-point line," Silver said. "I don't think that's a solution here because then, I think when we look at both the game and the data, I think that may not necessarily do more midrange jumpers, if that's what people want, but more clogging under the basket."

Silver isn't moving the 3-pt line anytime soon because he doesn't believe it'll bring more midrange jumpers into the equation like y'all want. Silver isn't moving the 3-pt line anytime soon because it'll bring more clogging under the basket.

Everyone can move on with this now.

The end.

I was watching the nba cup whatever yesterday atrocious, thunder were like 4 for 25 or whatever and kept chucking.

Yet hartenstein was getting easy buckets but they rarely went to him.
I love when commentators at half time say "they won't shoot this bad all game" 🤣 MF yes they can and will! 27 missed 3s in a row from Daryl Morey's Rockets will never not be funny.

wouldn't dunking just go up severely then since it's less risky than a midrange jumper? i mean you risk a charge or a foul but with how analytics is going I could see them just telling players to dunk the ball

Won't be an issue with a digital 3 point line that can be moved or removed on the fly after a possession.

Futuristically Speaking

This description sounds like NBA STREET VOL. 2 strategy...

Someone put Adam Silver in touch with @Gil Scott-Heroin , clearly Adam Silver just doesn’t understand what’s happening and he needs schooling by the expert.

:mjlol:
You gonna show back up in this thread and actually read the article or you just gonna be baited by the thread title, when Silver doesn’t even believe there’s a 3-pt problem?

It seems you don't know what projection means either.

:unimpressed:

Why am I not surprised since your non-reading comprehension ass ran up in this thread thinking that Silver is going to implement some wholesale changes to the 3-pt shot when the article says anything but that. You just took the thread title and ran with it.

Nothing you say stands.

You're a Lakers shyt poster.

Your entire existence on this board is to shyt on Bron (to protect Kobe) and hype up and overrate anything Lakers-related. You don't post about anything else. If you fell off the face of this board nobody would take any notice because there'd be another bot to stand in your place, posting the same mundane, homerism bullshyt about the Lakers. I can't even tell the difference between you, that jew, that c00n who spent thousands on a Kobe doll or any of y'all parasites whose only interest in the NBA is to wave purple and gold pom poms in unison.

And there you go again - projecting.

That's your motivation.

You don't like today's game because it doesn't benefit your agendas. Agendas of which have nothing to do with the game of basketball. You use hoops as a vehicle for stan wars and nothing else. You're a caricature of an NBA fan, who thrives on being negative of today's product.

Whereas I could care less about the Warriors today. Their window is closed. I've moved on. As anyone that does that actually likes the game. I've defended Jokic on here more than anyone and his style of play couldn't be further from the Warriors, and yet you seem to think me defending the evolution of the game is because of some bias?

Nah.

I just adapt. I appreciate and acknowledge winning play and methods. It doesn't benefit me in any way to ignore reality.

If there ever becomes a point where the NBA no longer entertains or interests me, I'll stop watching. I won't waste my energy and time crying about something that won't change for me like y'all do.
