The bricking hella shots shyt is an overrated talking point. Most of these brehs in the 2000s were shooting like 44-47%. If you're attempting 20 shots in a game the difference between 45% and 50% is literally 1 shot. The narrative that all the top guys back then were just bricking mid range shots all game is BS.
