Most blame is the culture of basketball and America all the way from the grass roots level.

From AAU ball greedy parents family hanger-ons.

Moving kids to multiple high schools.

All of this isn't properly developing or preparing the kids

And you’re telling me I don’t know how to use words :mjlol:?

You literally butchered the fukk out of the term projection :mjlol:
It seems you don't know what projection means either.

:unimpressed:

Why am I not surprised since your non-reading comprehension ass ran up in this thread thinking that Silver is going to implement some wholesale changes to the 3-pt shot when the article says anything but that. You just took the thread title and ran with it.
What I said still stands.
Nothing you say stands.

You're a Lakers shyt poster.

Your entire existence on this board is to shyt on Bron (to protect Kobe) and hype up and overrate anything Lakers-related. You don't post about anything else. If you fell off the face of this board nobody would take any notice because there'd be another bot to stand in your place, posting the same mundane, homerism bullshyt about the Lakers. I can't even tell the difference between you, that jew, that c00n who spent thousands on a Kobe doll or any of y'all parasites whose only interest in the NBA is to wave purple and gold pom poms in unison.
Your motivation for anything 3point related is only because your Warrior bias.
And there you go again - projecting.

That's your motivation.

You don't like today's game because it doesn't benefit your agendas. Agendas of which have nothing to do with the game of basketball. You use hoops as a vehicle for stan wars and nothing else. You're a caricature of an NBA fan, who thrives on being negative of today's product.

Whereas I could care less about the Warriors today. Their window is closed. I've moved on. As anyone that does that actually likes the game. I've defended Jokic on here more than anyone and his style of play couldn't be further from the Warriors, and yet you seem to think me defending the evolution of the game is because of some bias?

Nah.

I just adapt. I appreciate and acknowledge winning play and methods. It doesn't benefit me in any way to ignore reality.

If there ever becomes a point where the NBA no longer entertains or interests me, I'll stop watching. I won't waste my energy and time crying about something that won't change for me like y'all do.

Hit dog will holler?

That's not what you think it means. You quoted someone speaking specifcially about me, and you added to what they were saying about me. I merely responded. All too hilarious considering how all y'all are saying in the next breath that I'd be avoiding this thread.

Y'all cats are far too dumb and lack self-awareness to strike anything but yourselves.

And like I said my g, Jokic and the Nuggets are doing EXACTLY that, but nobody is talking about them bringing real hoops back.

:hubie:

Because they the only team doing it...

Why would everybody root for the same team. That's not how this works

It's not about rooting for them.

I'm talking about using them as an example of what the league should be. But the discourse around the Nuggets has been the complete opposite. Posters on this board have let their other agenda of keyboard militancy push them to shyt on Jokic. They've constantly disrespected him over the last 4-5 years. The same posters that swear they want fewer 3s, more post-ups, more physical play etc. Jokic embodies all those elements, and he does it in an entertaining way.

Why doesn't anyone talk about DeRozan and him living in the midrange? Why aren't cats saying "we need more players like DeRozan"? Why aren't cats saying DeRozan is keeping the game alive?

All these complaints are fake and transparent because they're not going to stop people from complaining.

I remember the old board when The Decision happened, in real time, and you had a whole contingent of posters professing that the NBA had died and that Bron had ruined the league (they still claim he's responsible for the results of it now).

Hate, hate, hate.

They won't be satisifed until holograms are made of their favorite players, teams and time in the league where they can relive those moments in a new frame.

You literally regurgitated my critique of you being a homer. Holy autism you’re pathetic :mjlol:. I’ve read you like a book and it triggered you now you’re emulating me. What’s the matter word-salad couldn’t find another word?

You want to compare forum contributions. How many of your threads have made the rafters ? How many have of mine made the rafters? You are a former WOAT poster of the year runner up. Humble yourself :mjlol: . 120 people casted a vote to remind you that you bring nothing of substance or entertainment to this forum :umad:

Projection once again :mjlol: Ain’t no way you believe your own bullshyt. You have literally participated in Stan wars shamelessly for a decade . Jabari Parker, Mudiay, Jokic and Curry. :mjlol: . Cantstop has a thread in the rafters dunking on you for a Stan war you participated in…. And lost :mjlol:

Hide. Post. No matter what you do or don’t do I own you always p*ssy .

I honestly don't care about this three point shooting issue like that.

What concerns me is the lack of competitive spirit and no defense. Every time I watch a game it feels like that players have no passion for what they are doing,.
That's because you watch the Lakers.

Watch the Thunder, Cavs, Magic, Rockets, Grizzlies and you wouldn't reach that conclusion.

No you did but you mentioned the play in and I’m giving you an example of the players loving it and I’m saying that’s slivers best idea yet. fukk the all star game I ain’t watched that shyt in years. Buck did celebrate just like they should think they play tomorrow

I appreciate y’all helping bro out.

:salute:
But what about the opportunity to do more of what was working instead of chucking up 18 3s and only making 1. OKC lost because of spamming unnecessary 3s which led to lost scoring offensive possessions.

It shouldn’t turn into a 3 pt contest but the reality is trying to trade 2s with a team that’s hitting 3s is a losing battle

You have to be crazy efficient from 2 which is easier said than done, that’s just basic math

Let’s say hypothetically, 10 of OKC’s 3 pt misses last night instead take a 2PA, so they go 5-22 instead of 5-32. They would’ve needed to go 9-10 on those attempts for their point total to be more than the Bucks ended up being. Bucks outscored them by 36 points from the 3-pt line

Can’t battle nukes with bullets

You are somewhat right, but I have NBA league pass and been watching games since the season started. There is even inconsistency with the teams that you have mentioned. Feel like so many players are coasting by when I am watching.
