I'm avoiding all trailers. I want to go in with a totally blank slate. Pitt and TLJ are two of my favorite actors so it will be worth it even if it's a letdown.Is this one of those flicks your better off going in blind cause the trailer still got me baffled on wtf is going on besides looking for his pops

The last third of the movie is powerful but Im a bit disappointed.
Visuals are dope though but I'll give it a 2.5 out of 5. Mind you I knew going into this movie that it moved at a slow deliberate pace so that wasn't my issue with the movie. The movie just doesn't do a good job of telling the kind of story it wants to tell.

The movie was good. The plot was strong. But Sci-Fi these days tries to be too realistic while trying to thread a needle.

Its visually amazing, but thematically, this shyt has more plot holes than Gravity did.

Sci Fi has been getting away with murder in the last 5 years when it comes to space....I mis people just fukking around with shyt...now we gotta go out in space for this shyt and its not even remotely trying?

Just got out, the movie was pretty good until Mars then the slow burn activated. I almost thought I was in a 3hr movie at one point, I mean it got slower than Interstellar. The 3rd act completely falls apart imo, it's like the director said "fukk it" regarding logic and suspension of belief.
