He was injured in 2018, so who knows if he can comeback to form. He did alright with the Indians though, I guess. We've made signings like this before and seem to always whiff on them

I forgot we traded for Adam Duvall He'll end up in RF.

We still need a RF. Duvall is not starting material for anyone trying to win games.

Not sure what McCann has left but since we didn't sign Suzuki back (I wish we did) that's the next best thing

Josh Donaldson is a good look but I always hated signing people for huge money

But when he's at his best he's a MVP candidate so welcome to the team

I’m in wait and see mode for Donaldson... BUT if he’s healthy and able to replicate his typical Blue Jays production we might have the toughest 1-4(5?) in the NL. If we can still get Harper

It looks like Camargo or Dansby getting traded or being used as a super utility role. If we can’t get Harper I wouldn’t mind trying Camargo in the outfield.

It feels like AA is gearing up for a huge trade or two. Some of these pitching prospects gotta get consolidated.

I really hope we get an upgrade over Markakis but he can suffice if it’s a fair (cheap) deal. I don’t know who else is really out there that fits a conservative budget. Maybe swing a minor deal for Puig?

Love the Donaldson signing.

I saw a possible lineup of LF Inciarte, RF Camargo and Acuna moving to center. Not sure about that one.

In either case once we beef up the pitching staff we should improve on our 18 season. Can't wait for Spring Training to get here.

I knew AA was going to try to sign him,played his best ball during that stint with the Jays...He aint been healthy in 2 years but if he can stay off the DL potentially great signing....I guess im rooting for the Braves next year

2015 Donaldson was the greatest single season i witnessed as a Jays fan...

Yea, atleast with Markakis you get a .280 contact hitter who is decent in the field. He lacks in power, though.

Resigning him gives us a solid 1-5.

Yeah and despite Harper which is highly unlikely, I don't see much of an upgrade on the market.
