Somebody break the budget down for me.
I read this morning that with Donaldson our payroll will be about $100M right now while last season it was $130M. Doesn’t that mean there is over $30M to spend? I’m not educated on baseball salary cap and budgets.

Even if that was the case, we need to sign a RF, starting pitcher and some bullpen help. I'd rather re-sign Markakis for cheaper, get someone like Sonny Gray and hope Kimbrel comes home.

I don’t think starting pitching will be addressed in free agency... however I can see a trade for a Grienke or Synderguard with all of the pitching prospects we have. Why would we want Sonny Gray? Should we be adding any more average guys to our rotation when it’s already mostly set? Where does Gray fit in?

If we are spending money on a SP they need to hopefully be a frontline starter.

I would love to have Kimbrel back though. But at what price...

I’m all for spending the funds on a frontline starter, but if Julio isn’t in the rotation plans then we need to move him. You could potentially get a good prospect or some bullpen help for him.

Also, are we giving up on Minter or Vizcaino as closers?

It's still early but it sounds like Camargo to a utility role off the bench

We need a RF, Adam Duvall is not the move. I say bring Markakis back on a 2 yr deal

I'd love to move on from Markkakis if there is a younger outfielder out there for similar money. Also if the Braves aren't looking to use Carmargo in a Ben Zobrist super utility role you've gotta consider trading him.

A team that wants a proven Big League SP still under contract for reasonable money for the next couple years.

He should bring back a Top 100 prospect along with a major league player imo.

Instead of bringing Markakis back, we should make a move for Marwin Gonzalez. He can play 1B/2B/SS/3B/LF/CF/RF.

Excited about seeing Acuna play a whole season, and I want to see if the squad is able to remain atop the east now that the Phillies have made the moves they did.

Scored some cheap tickets for the Apr 6th game against the Marlins for the fam and myself. First time taking my baby daughter to the stadium. I can’t wait! Hopefully the weather cooperates, and it’s warm out

Yea, I’m tryna get her to some games early and to all of the local ATL sports events to help her with some civic pride when she gets older. Both her and her mama are ATLiens, so it is what it is.

I will always be for all things Carolina, though. It’s going to be tough raising Braves, Hawks, and Falcons fans when I’m Hornets and Panthers all the way. The trash talk in my household will be epic, though and I can’t wait! I need to go ahead and produce a son now lol

My house is a Hawks home. It took awhile. My wife hated the Hawks and was a Wizards fan but John Wall fall from Grace and Trae making us go from the most boring team ever to must see TV helped a lot. Wife dont care about other sports outside of Basketball. When she does watch football which is never, she likes the Bears
