You can't complain about a deal
Of course you can.

MS is literally bringing nothing new to the table with the acquisition. “We will ensure that CoD is multi platform”. Uhh..it already is multi platform. :why:

“We will give 10-year agreements”. Uhh…why is there a timetable now, there was no timetable with ActiBlizz. :why:

This is simply a company buying up assets to control ownership of supply (games) and stifle competition.

And lol at Steam “being on board” as if they had a say.

First it was… “yeah, we’ll think about what to do with CoD on playstation after the contract is up”

To, “yeah we’ve committed to 3 years after the contract”

Now its, “we are handing out 10 year contracts minimum, please believe us”

Hopefully Jimbo continues to keep his foot on their neck and squeeze them for even more concessions :ehh:

Yup. Make em drop the drawz plehbwoi!!! :birdman:

That shyt gonna look like Goldeneye 64 on the Switch to hit 60fps!

COD just came back to Steam after being removed for 5 years lmao. Of course Gabe is going to be for the deal.

because they realized making their game exclusive to battle.net was a bad idea. similar to EA and Ubisoft

What kind of nonsense is this? Nobody signs contracts in the business world that say they commit to something forever. Activision and Sony don't have a contract that says that now. Activision is free to do as they see fit with Call of Duty right now.

There's a timetable because it's a long term deal put in writing. Seems fairly obvious. Initially Microsoft said we plan to keep the game on PlayStation. Their word wasn't good enough so they offered a contract.

Breh dont be obtuse.
:childplease:
You’re comparing run-of-the-mill contracts between game publishers (ActiBlizz) and console/platform makers (Sony) to potential contracts between two console/platform makers. Apples and Oranges.

There is no threat of 3rd party ActiBlizz pulling its games from Sony’s platforms. There is a real threat of MS acquiring ActiBlizz then pulling their games from Sony’s platforms.

I am so happy Microsoft buying the industry because we don't need no Chinese conglomerate such as Tencent buying everything.

Microsoft was always going to keep COD Multiplat which is weird why people specifically Sony is complaining. Sony doesn't want this shyt on Gamepass and losing their exclusivity deals.
