No. From Day one it was always.

“To be clear, Microsoft will continue to make Call of Duty and other popular Activision Blizzard titles available on PlayStation through the term of any existing agreement with Activision. And we have committed to Sony that we will also make them available on PlayStation beyond the existing agreement and into the future so that Sony fans can continue to enjoy the games they love. We are also interested in taking similar steps to support Nintendo’s successful platform. We believe this is the right thing for the industry, for gamers and for our business.”

“We’d like to bring it to Nintendo devices, we’d like to bring the other popular titles that Activision Blizzard has, and ensure they continue to be available on PlayStation, and that they become available on Nintendo.”

That’s never changed. They’ve just had to say it 35,000 different times in 147,000 different ways due to collective #Shambles of the industry. :wow:

“We’d like to”

“Our intent”

Naw phil say it with your whole chest.

“It's just about picking an expiration date, not with the goal of ever expiring, but just like, the legalese of a document has to say this goes through some date," Spencer said. "But once we start working with a platform, just like we have with with Minecraft, both on PlayStation and on on Nintendo's platform, our goal would be to continue to support those customers."

Microsoft offered and even sent us a draft agreement for a long-term Call of Duty commitment but it wasn't necessary for us because a) we're not believers in requiring any partner to have an agreement that locks them to shipping games on Steam into the distant future b) Phil and the games team at Microsoft have always followed through on what they told us they would do so we trust their intentions and c) we think Microsoft has all the motivation they need to be on the platforms and devices where Call of Duty customers want to be.

:dead: @ that Nintendo announcement when they don't have a system that can play a modern COD. The only thing the Switch could handle is COD Mobile...which if they're saying they made a similar offer to Sony, was probably for COD Mobile as well.

They're so see through and people eat it up. :dead:

probably cloud services…they offer/will offer quite a few games that normally wouldn’t be able to perform on the switch that way…OT but dunno why they don’t just allow for xbox cloud gaming/game pass in general…anyway the steam deck accounts for that as far having portability with game pass
