You’d think they wouldn’t take a top 20 player, top 10 defender all time in their prime for granted. We’ll see.

Even if nothing happens and the Minny pick/Wiseman stay, the very least they can do is not force Kerr’s hand to play prospects who aren’t ready to contribute to winning basketball. Don’t hand Wise or whoever is drafted a spot in the rotation just because of draft status, gotta actually earn it.

Since nothing else has worked I wonder if it's time they added a 4th ref to the court. Just cause I'm out of other ideas.





The inbound count does not begin until the ball is "at the disposal of the player". Here is the rules definition of "at the disposal".


4-4-7: A ball is at the disposal of a player when it is:
a. Handed to a thrower or free thrower.
b. Caught by a player after it is bounced to him/her.
c. Placed on the floor at the spot.
d. Available to a player after a goal and the official begins the throw-in count.


My assumption would be that since Bron never caught the ball it wasn't considered at his disposal and thus the throw-in wasn't live yet. I don't know if that's the correct ruling though, I'm only going off of what happened really.

They’ll be better. Steph is about to be a FA and clearly wants to compete and has shown he can still be that guy. It’s about the margins moves now. You can’t waste roster spots on guys like Smiley and Mulder next year.

You have 6-7 guys I think that are ready to play winning basketball...Klay, Steph, Dray, JTA, Loon, Poole and Wiggs. Fill out the rest of the roster..

The only problem with that is depending on the player that GS is trying to get (using Wiseman and Minny pick), they'll need to use Wiggin's contract as filler.

It's either that or use Draymond's instead.

Wiggins and Draymond aren't going anywhere. They are both too impactful to be given away as filler unless you're trading for a Kevin Durant caliber player and there is no star like that available.

Then GS is going to be limited in what they can get for the Minny pick/Wiseman considering they're already over the cap and don't have the contracts to send out.

Oubre, Wiseman and the Minny pick for Brogdon and Turner is the dream.
