He's not a sexy pickup but depending on who the Warriors use the TPE on a player like Frank Kaminsky might be interesting. Not a defender but can score in the low post and step out and hit a 3. Shoots about 35 percent from 3 as a 7 footer. If you want a vet on the roster he might be a possibility.

Basically a roster like this

PG: Steph, Justin Holiday, Poole

SG: Klay, Josh Richardson, Lee

SF: Wiggins, Paschall, Bazemore

PF: Dray, Chriss, Smiley

C: Wiseman, Looney, Kaminsky,

Edit:

You could switch Holiday and Richardson and I'd still go with it cause the only there options at backup PG are: Augustin, MCW, Napier, Burke, and Teague (I expect the Lakers to go after him).

Plus our perimeter defense was food this year and I want as many big versatile guards/wings who can defend and shoot as possible.

paschall is much better as a PF. he did worse playing the three. PF is his natural position. He can backup draymond

Chriss is an undersized center. Playing PF is what almost got him out the league. He's has a rehabilitation by playing the 5

With wiseman, i think we have our center position figured out. Start wiseman, and Chriss and Looney come off the bench. Looney has to be healthy though

Justin Holiday isnt a PG. he was with the warriors in '15 playing SF or shooting guard

Most of those players are position less. Paschall is 6'6 so he's gonna have to play against SF's in most situations cause's tool small and not a good enough defender for agile 4's. Chriss is small ball 5 whose natural position 4.

Wiseman is for the future and unless you trust looney to stay healthy you're gonna need a veteran center. Kerr already said they were gonna add one.

Holiday plays SG/PG for the Pacers now and did for the Bulls last year. He's 6'6 so he can guard 1- 3.

Can't comprehend why people think we should trade a potential dominant big when that's the main thing we're missing.
Not to mention a good rook with a way cheaper contract that could potentially put up the same numbers as the "name brand" guy they trade for. They're going to have to cut some costs somehow to pay for that new flashy building especially if fans still won't be allowed in arenas come next season plus add in a lower salary cap to boot.

I thought that too until I read this article earlier.

thing is this era of basketball has limited the value of big men if they dont have perimeter skills

wiseman look like he has some potential in that area tho

Long and lanky is a philosophy that some teams wanna emulate. Tall guys who can do perimeter shyt. I'm not sure what Wiseman can bring in that department but he has 3 games and a HS career of footage. For all we know he probably spent all his time working on an elbow jumper.

I'd hold off on any deals because what hurts the Dubs in that regard is that the team in front of them is trying to do the same thing. Take Wiseman and call it a day.

Would yall trade the pick for Gobert(extended)? Embiid? Simmons?

Re: Embiid, here's what I said before the game tonight..

Im not sure TBH. Crazy as it may sound.

I don't see a way to keep Simmons and Dray on the floor together and I'm not interested in dumping Dray so I think I'm out on Ben.

Gobert, man, I'd have to at least consider that... I don't hang up the phone if I'm Bob Myers. I at least hear it out.
