because music sucks these days. the 2010s and 2020s are arguably the worse era in music. just microwave music

if you say that and you'll get accused of being nostalgic.

it's usually said that people stop looking or listening to new music when they hit their late 20s. but when I was young, alot of my older cousins who were in there late 20s and early 30s were still buying music that were new in the early 2000s and late 90s

90’s was the last great music decade. And the 70’s and 80’s were better.

Nah, 2000 - 2007 was good too. Fun Crunk and R&B music. I can name too many artists. They mightve not been great lyrically, but their music was a vibe.

2000's music was pretty good in retrospect just with some low lows.

R&B was still strong commercially and had quality albums. There were lots of great and iconic rap albums like Blueprint, Stillmatic, Late Registration, TES, Purple Haze, GRODT, TM101, Supreme Clientele, etc.. Pop music from the likes of Christina, Justin, Nelly Furtado, Gwen Stefani, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, etc. was respectable. Nu Metal produced some good music too.
