The thing that frustrates me so much is that this dude is selling hope to desperate people. I agree with @No_bammer_weed that the militants who fall for this don't have my sympathy, but the single black mothers out there who fall for this shyt? That makes me sad brehs.

Besides the irony, I see no real issue. I still support his mission because the mission is bigger than the man. And if we judged all leaders by their private indiscretions, then we would need to throw out many including notable names such as MLK and many more.

There's no point trying to hide behind the figures of the past as if their transgressions should somehow absolve him. The challenges and environment of then are different to the ones of now. He understands that hence the contrite tone of his facebook post. Shrugging it off like it's no big deal is demonstrate that you aren't willing to confront what's actually at stake here.

What really matters here is that he lost what may have been his biggest chance at proving us all wrong (which would be the best case scenario) and that should be all the more frustrating for those of you that believe he'll actually pull through. Yet you all get defensive and obfuscate as if people don't have the right to ask perfectly reasonable questions, as if black people don't deserve to ask of ourselves more than half measures.

I would not send my sons to a school run by somebody that engages in that shyt. I don't myself and I question the judgement of someone that thinks such behavior is compatible with the image required to set up a school for impressionable young boys.
