Because the quantum mechanics/electron orbitals of CO2 are absorbing and thus emitting infrared radiation back onto the earth's surface. Ergo The greenhouse effect

And it's happened before when vegetation became prevalent on the planet. There was a lot more CO2 and less O2 in the air before they became abundant.

They are but my point is theres far more cattle due to all the ppl who eat meat which inevitably means much more C02 is pumped in the air
I mean even as a child back in the early 90s i cant even remember the last time where i went through a whole winter where it didnt constantly snow, now it seems like thats the norm and i kno i aint the only one

In a closed system with the moon being in said system while also being 200k+ miles away, the nature of how heat works(which is what the study of thermodynamics is) would dictate that hot gas is lighter so it rises, meaning that heat should be consistently rising and dissipating into the supposed absolute zero of "outer space" that supposedly occupies the majority of the space between the the earth and the moon

Chem 2 is irrelevant to this discussion, but the General Chem at GT covers Chem 1 & 2 at most other schools

Ok good we have an understanding.
I brought up chemistry because we are indeed talking about the physical properties of a greenhouse gas (CO2) and how it's electron configuration cause the absorption and emmitance of infrared radiation back onto the earth's surface.
It really isn't about hot gas rising, but more so radiation that was originally being refracted away from the earth being reflected back due to the overabundance of CO2 in the atmosphere.
1. Natural products for our existence isn't the issue in this CC topic and can never amount to what government and corprations use and create for an environment.
2. I remember when it didn't snow but freezing cold. If it doesn't effect you getting put of school...kids don't remember.
