Since gaf came back up, there've been people who've been banned without posting a thing. At first people thought it was past history stuff or personal grudges, but even people who never made waves got hit - people put two and two together and discovered that they were getting permed over shooting PMs about other sites and discords back and forth.

:flobbe: It's whatever to who decides to frequent GAF again but how the hell can you knowingly support someone that does petty shyt like this.

shyt makes me regret spending a good amount of time on GAF. I've seen Tyler's maliciousness firsthand and this still got me like :flord:

Paid emails is because cacs from ***** be using burners to try and troll with impunity so they have to have something they can use to verify that you're not, you know, a cac with a vendetta.

Reading the place so far, they using xenforo so it's pretty sleek, they've already got the news game on lock.

Think it'll work.

Resetera looks like it's gonna get most of the old gaffers which I guess I cool if they can still get industry insiders to give info. But moving forward slaent and the thecoli just appeal to me more.

Either way it looks like there will be no need to go to neogaf anymore. It's pretty fun watching them try to act like everything's fine over there while the whole shyt falls apart. The only reason I'm still checking it is cause the suicide threads are funny. But after they die down I'm not giving gaf anymore traffic.

paid emails is a good filtering method. i wish the coli would adopt that method tbh, it makes it harder for dupe troll accounts and keeps a lot of garbage posters away

Dumb cacs killed their own momentum with all these restrictions on registration and are too dumb and narcissistic to realize it. 7k users can't complete with a forum that has 100k daily.


I bet alot of the people stuck over there are regretting it now, I guarantee the new joint won't pop off....and they only have themselves to blame
