I was thinking this, too.

No shade to @Gloxina . I think you mentioned we all know someone or of someone (likely female) whose been molested.

Problem is, even on this board, we've seen many male posters say they were molested as boys, too, though - by women.
Oh- for sure. Like I said, that’s why in my initial comment I said that women bathe the babies —no gender specified. Because it happens to both.

So true
The broader scope is safeguarding children in general, from abusive men and women
The Coli is well aware of my stance on that.

Not trying to make another topic about Kendrick, but I feel like there’s a lot more under the surface to Not Like Us being such a hit other than the beat. It feels like a lot of people really resonated with the message of publicly calling out someone who was perceived as a predator. Like he gave a voice to a lot of people to release that rage. For everybody who grew up and had that uncle that nobody wanted to talk about but still was allowed at the BBQ. For everybody who had to take the long route home because of that one house in the neighborhood and nikkas was quick to fight each other over nonsense but never ran up on Mr. So and So about how he would speak to the little girls walking by

The older I get the most I start to realize that this stuff was hella common for black folks and might be literally the only thing we are “on code” about

“Trying to strike a cord/
And it’s probably A minoooooooooooor”

Is def the most popular line in that song and it’s not just because it’s catchy :sas2::manny:

you’ve never heard of incest?

Girls…girls (kids) have never been raped by a father? Blood relative?

:comeon: Of course it happens, but the links you posted don’t single out fathers. Most fathers aren’t abusing their kids. The abusers
are usually step fathers, uncles, cousins, and family friends.
All of the abuse stories you mentioned in your previous posts were done by men who weren’t the fathers.

There is nothing wrong with a father changing his daughter’s diaper.

So does a father have the right to say the mother can’t change his son diaper? I’ve seen/heard a lot of stories about women abusing boys.:sas2:
Do what you want in your household :manny:

Again, I was simply stating that old school rules were women handled babies. Period.

Yea, it would be plausible if we returned to actually having families. You know, husband, wife, children. Not this messed up thing we have now, Baby Momma, Baby Daddy, children out of wedlock.

We want the old ways to be prevalent, then we need to actually follow the old ways from the start. Putting the cart before the horse is not the way.

Edit: Also, grandmothers are overtaxed as it is. Generation after generation of out-of-wedlock children being pushed on her to deal with while the mother works or plays.

U wrote this so I wouldn't have to.

People ain't realizing not everybody is growing up in these houses where mama got a new boyfriend and he up in there looking at the lil girls funny.
Next month she'll have another dude in there
They ain't never been able to trust men and never known real safe love.
This is where all this Comes from.
This sht is cool in today's society, but it ain't cool

Some of us are raising kids in loving households.
With Strong, caring men around.
Nobody even thinks crazy sht like "the men can't change diapers."
All these lil ass girls we done raised to be grown women.
But I can see how they are just different than all the these other chix out here. These people are damaged
