the guy is 25 years old... he will be at this level for 5 more years and still be at high level for 2-3 more years.. thats 7 to 8 years of elite level...

when you think about it.. he is being traded for 3 young... everyone else is out of the roster this summer.. (i am talking about what LA offered.. not what NO wants...)

and those picks.. will all be between 24 and 30 unless injured...

AD is actually worth that...(the offer) but...he does take you out of another max contract...

and yes.. you would get what NO gets.. including their play off records...

Some friends of mine in real life had been talking about the Lakers should do that for a while. I know it wouldn't happen but it would allow either Kuz or Ingram to move to their natural small forward position. The roster pieces would fall in to place. Place AD age wise fits with the rest of the young guys and they could all grow together.

AD is NOT worth all that shyt or the entire team just like Lebron isn't either. But Lebron is worth AD straight up. And 7-8 years of eliteness is better than the 2/3 “aight” you MIGHT get from 35 year old, injury prone Lebron.

AD + 3 young perennial stars is better than anything on the pelicans now.
