We are never going to make smart patient FA moves or anything.

James Dolan will never allow a team to be competently built like that, he'd rather just assemble an over the hill name brand gang.

Only way we're ever winning is if we luck into another player like we lucked into KP. That's it. :wow:

And what the hell the difference between winning 30-38 games for 2-3 years like we would anyway and winning 15 one year and 25 the next before you win 30-38? You're still losing. You still ain't make the playoffs unless your conference suck ass. So what the hell difference does it make?

i asked you to name a team that lost on purpose for consecutive years in a row and was rewarded with a championship
i didnt ask you to name me players who won a championship with the team that drafted them
focus lol
Cause teams didn't start doing this until a few years ago when people realized the only way to win a chip in this league is to get as good a pick as you can and maximize your chances at winning.

Teams only tanked in single seasons because of contextual factors until the last decade or so. We don't have enough of a sample size to gauge if this works.

We do have a 20 year sample size that shows what we've been fukking doing, ain't work. :yeshrug:

kp aint going no where
so yes lose more.
how long did it take paul pierce to get his ring
you wanna field a competitive team...what hall of fame player is available to trade for us?
kp is one player....in todays nba with it being as talented as its ever been...having him and trading for whatever isnt enough.
the warriors players were lottery picks... and i already mentioned trusting your scouts...which clearly you dont want to do cause you wanna trade nikkas for a stop gap
you probably would have flipped klay thompson for kevin love.
we need to win right now :krs: ,....fukk a development :krs:
ideally i'd want the knicks bad for the next 1-2 years....
we'd have a lot of talent through multiple drafts by then.
who is saying 3-4 years.
WHO
QUOTE THEM. TAG THEM.
the celtics won a ring because their gm got garnett and ray allen to the team
if it was up to you, you would of suggested they not trade for "30 year old players leaving their prime"
and you would of wanted them to lose for the next 3 or 4 years, build around al jefferson, stack up picks and then eventually get rid of pierce because hes not apart of the youth movement:sas2:

kinda like how we did melo:sas2:

That's a dumb question broski. How many teams have lost on purpose for consecutive years and how many different teams have won a championship in last 5 years?

okc should have but their management decided to give up on harden.
dont be dense.
you know damn well its best to stockpile premium talent and develop them and then move them for better fits if you see fit
problem is...we move our players before we truly find out how good they are or can be....and that actually diminishes their value if you want to move them for better fits.

everyone knows that celtic trade was some lopsided bullshyt and gifted by mchale to his boston buddy ainge.
lets be real...deals like that will never be gifted to us
paul pierce at 32> melo at 32

ill keep it in simple for you
out of the all the teams that won the championship in the last 10 plus years, none of those teams made a conscious decision to lose on purpose for mulitiple years in a row to stack up draft picks and win a championship
it just hasnt been done
teams that have won make smart draft picks ( most of the team in the middle of the first round or in the second round because they are compeitive) have cap flexibility, and make strong free agent signings. thats it.

i have no problem buildin around kp, losing for the next couple of years on purpose is dumb. and no one should be looking at philly as a example of success lol

PLease please for the love of fukking God just do a proper rebuild

No Bledsoe
Nobody over age 26.

Please no

This cycle is going to keep happening as long as a proper rebuild is avoided

Stink it up, choose wisely. That’s it.

fukk trading Young pieces for Bledsoe

That man ain’t bringing us any closer to a ship. Cut it the fukk out.
The goal should be to not trade any young pieces for him. Ntilikina and Willy are untouchable. It’s unlikely we get him anyway.

Bledsoe doesn’t ruin the “tank”. This is still a 30-35 win team with him, the defense is that bad. We need to clear logjams at PG, SF, and C. We desperately need a real NBA level guard for Ntilikina to play behind and learn from. We need an NBA level guard who can actually hit KP with post entry passes, pick and pops, and lobs.

I see Enes Kanter is making $17M for the next two seasons, so we wouldn't even be able to create a package around him without getting anything back from Phoenix. We kinda stuck with this guy.

I really believe we pushed the button on that Melo trade too fast. I can't stand watching Kanter play, the bad defense, the constant flopping, the constant demanding for the ball on every P&R and post up, the man can score the ball but he's just a terrible fit for what we are doing and he's taking away Willy's minutes, who is a similar player.

I wish we could have waited and gotten Melo to accept a trade to Portland where we could have gotten a guy like Maurice Harkless.

:snoop:
