This whole situation has put Pennywise even further down my list of awful coaches. There's a segment of Knicks fans that are now acting like Willy is lazy and worse defensively than Kanter who remains one of the worst defensive bigs I've witnessed (talking David Lee, Amare Stoudamire bad or possibly worse). Willy is below average, Kanter is AWFUL. Willy passes, Kanter doesn't. Kanter's the better offensive rebounder but Willy is better defensive rebounding. Kanter is slightly better scoring in the post than Willy looked LAST YEAR but we haven't seen enough this year to compare. Willy was good in the preseason in worse situations, he's younger, his contract is way better and yet the same guy that was convinced Joakim Noah was having a bigger impact last year has Knicks fans trashing Willy...smfh. To me, it seems like the Knicks are showcasing the two bigs they can possibly trade and using effort as an excuse. I'm wondering if KOQ rumors pick up the closer to 12 games in we get because Noah will be rostered after.

What the fukk is this clown talking about? Kanter hasn't been blocking shyt, he hasn't blocked a single shot through 2 games. Willy should be playing period, son was a walking double double last season. Willy is Kanter except 2 years younger, with better defensive rebounding, passing, and potential to hit the three, as well as chemistry with KP from when they played together on Real Madrid.
Lol, at a 1st Team All-Rookie not playing in his sophomore season.

For all of the talk about "earning" your spot on this team, low key O'Quinn has probably done the most to earn a start, and it sucks that he's been slighted like he has been throughout the years. I remember years ago we were trying to lure Phil to come coach. He called our roster "Clumsy" and was like

Yes, it's his fault we have a Center surplus too even tho he wasn't the one that traded for Kanter. He fostered the environment where there was no repairing the relationship with Melo. In a more amicable setting, maybe they could have swayed him to Portland.
"But we weren't winning anything with Melo" 'He was holding KP back". FOH. We gained nothing useful in the Melo trade and will be in the same position had he stayed. No youth with upside, no picks, not even an attractive piece to flip at a later date.
KP was not ready to be the featured player on offense until this year. In fact, until about 20 games in I'm not gonna be sold on his durability and will know if he can sustain this pace all year. I dunno about this fragile cat doing all the heavy lifting for 82 games? 70-75?
I've seen a lot of talk about 'needle moving'. I didn't promise you a full tank. Or even a half tank. But unlike Sessions, Baker, and Ntilikina combined he will at least get you off the lot. He becomes another player that commands attention which can only be good for KP. But ok, AND LIKE I ALREADY SAID, they don't need to give up Willy and Frank. They could talk me into giving them Willy tho, I'm sorry.
How far does HE move the needle? What do yall think his ceiling is?
His ceiling might be a better passing Enes Kanter! 
And stop it, none of the past 5 champions were built solely thru the draft. Featured a player they drafted? Sure! But don't sit here and act like that's all they did and were fortunate enough to receive some good luck.
Miami: Drafted Wade. 1st chip traded for Shaq, acquired GP and other parts and won. Back to back titles they picked up this guy named LeBron and Chris Bosh thru FA.
Mavs: Drafted Dirk. That's it. Acquired Kidd, Chandler, and Terry to balance roster out.
Spurs: They drafted their core, I can't front. With picks that panned out or overachieved tho! Manu 2nd round, Parker late 1st, and I dont know where Kawhi was selected. Prob late lottery but an overachiever none the less. He's overrated. All that 2nd or even 3rd best player in the league talk is
GS: Drafted Curry and Thompson, but they were tryna get Klay up outta there at one point. Draymond? Classic 2nd round over achiever. The 1st chip was balanced by vet acquisitions like Iguodala, Livingston, and Barbosa. Last year Kevin fukking Durant.
And yall wanna emulate the Sixers?
