Trey need to start with frank comin of the bench
I thank jack for his services
He really did well and exceeded expectations
But him playing now is pretty pointless

I think jack is well respected on this team tho. So unless he voluntarily decides to fall back, i dont see horn benching him. It might even mess up team morale

Burke is A.I. reincarnated shyt is hilarious from look, to playstyle, and temperament on the court.

He was making tough shots and probing the defense, son was on fire, crazy part is he looked a lil rough when he first checked in as Jack had got most of the reps in the game to that point.

He needs to start point blank period...

Burke and Frank need to be our guards post trade deadline as the season hits its last third.

I’m satisfied we won, but I got to be ready to play,” Burke said. “Guys are required to produce when their number is called. If you’re not locked in as you need to be, you saw some of my possession that I had. My teammates stuck with me. My coaches stuck with me, and I played through it, and we rolled with what was working.’

Shocking how it works when a PG is allowed to play himself into a rhythm and get cooking instead of being benched right away. Joakim Noah got that Frank treatment once and straight up yelled at Hornacek and left the team. Really happy to see Burke COOKING regardless.

Is that what happened with Noah? This is making me more worried about Frank’s development.

Knicks had the game in hand and he committed a TO 4 minutes into his time out there; then Horny benched him for Kanter. The reports were that Noah had words with Hornacek over it too. Honestly, quick hooks aren't always a bad thing. But in general it's an effective tactic when you use it once in a blue for a player that's getting too comfortable. You see Kanter's defense falling off for the past month? Give him a quick hook one night and watch him come back in inspired to hustle more. But for a player that's either confused or out of rhythm, that ish is more detrimental than anything imo.

Until trey showed up these last couple of games, frank was getting a fair shot to get into a rhythm. He started most 4th quarter. Horn got tired of him or something

Yesterday he lookes horrible in the second qrt and horn was not trying to lose to the team that fired him

Nah, don't give me that when I've been pointing it out all season. Just because he gets thrown back out there a quarter later doesn't erase that he's getting pulled off one or two mistakes. Frank looked bad for about 4 minutes and immediately got benched, Burke admitted to struggling but being able to play through and thanked the staff for it.

Edit: Also worth noting that Trey Burke's explosion happened when he got to play with a more talented unit. It's an uphill battle for any of these guys if they're stuck with Baker and/or Lance out there while KP or THJ isn't around to draw defensive focus.

One random thought I had last night though is that Burke/Kanter PnR is going to be effective against everybody. They may give a lot of the points back, but that's a combo that oughtta jump start the offense whenever we need it.

he got benched because like i said, horn is trying to win the game and is not trying to lose in phoniex
i've never seen frank get pulled when hes been playing well
and i've seen horn leave him in there plenty of times when he was doing nothing
at some point, you gotta put some of the onus on frank
he let trey burke come from the d-league and take it his position

horn did the same thing to willy. who ever plays the hardest usually gets the nod with him.

if his job is safe and we are just focused on developing, then management needs to tell him that so he can throw the young guys out there.
if hes trying to win a game or make playoffs, you can't tell me frank is a better option on most nights den jarrett jack and trey burke so far looks way better den him

its all about getting on the same page
