he got benched because like i said, horn is trying to win the game and is not trying to lose in phoniex
i've never seen frank get pulled when hes been playing well
and i've seen horn leave him in there plenty of times when he was doing nothing
at some point, you gotta put some of the onus on frank
he let trey burke come from the d-league and take it his position

horn did the same thing to willy. who ever plays the hardest usually gets the nod with him.

Fam, no one is commenting on what Hornacek does when Frank plays well or is relatively quiet. The entire train of thought is that Horn punishing these kids for one or two mistakes is detrimental. Horn did the same thing to Willy for sure and Willy regressed just like Frank has been. That's evidence for this tactic failing miserably.

if his job is safe and we are just focused on developing, then management needs to tell him that so he can throw the young guys out there.
if hes trying to win a game or make playoffs, you can't tell me frank is a better option on most nights den jarrett jack and trey burke so far looks way better den him

its all about getting on the same page

Again we're in agreement but that's not really what I'm worried about. You're right, with the state of Frank's play recently it's impossible to make the case that he's going to improve the team by starting. But playing to win is coming at an expense and not one that we should be willing to pay. If Hornacek doesn't want to use Frank than he's better off sending the kid to the G-League to get reps than he is putting the kid in just to micromanage him. Basically, Hornacek playing to win is one thing; but our rookies regressing should not be part of that equation.

F*ck these bum ass Knicks...

But yo, when's the last time there was a Knicks meet up? We should link up in midtown for one of the Boston games. There's one next Wednesday and another one Saturday 2/24. Or a Friday night game could work

Maybe Frank should play off guard more, I know I just shunned the thought of him being a 2 guard, and I think he's a good pick and roll guard and he doesn't get enough of a chance to show it, but he's struggling so bad to create his own offense. Frank's handle needs a lot of work, especially with his left hand, and he 's still too hesitant to look for his own shot even when it's there. Plus I think Frank hit the rookie wall and is fatigued. Let him play along side Burke more often, and let him be a spot up player until he gets his confidence up. My fear is the Knick are going to slowly abandon all hope of him being a pg though, he has the vision of a pg, but everything else isn't lining up for him.

Kevin Knox is our guy.

Would you take him over Miles Bridges? (Assuming both are available)

Also, I’m 100% in favor of sending Frank to the G a league. Let him get burn and experience. I also would like him to focus on scoring more down there in the 15-18 ppg range.
I wonder if they’re waiting for the all star break to send him down.

They not giving up Ferguson. Dead that.
They're looking at an old, middling team( Roberson was that important to them) that's capped out with few options to replace the void Roberson leaves. He might be gone till the middle of next year, and they might lose George if they can't compete this year. They might be desperate enough to part with Ferguson, he's one of the few tradeable pieces they have.

Lee isn't gonna do what Robeson did defensively, but he's no slouch either and makes up for what he doesn't have defensively with his shooting. It makes sense for both sides, OKC isn't gonna find too many players like Lee available on the trade market.
