As we’ve seen with Obama and now Kamala Harris, along with numerous other examples around the nation at the state level (Eric Adams, et.al.), being black doesn’t guarantee that a politician will work in the best interests of black people. More often than not, a black face is there for the sake of plausible deniability, laundering the preservation of white supremacy and ensuring that nothing substantive is done for the black community.

His approach to policies that will impact black people are well thought out, they will have complete control too under his governance, and most of these policies are reasonable and can be done, and have already been done in other states with similar makeups.

I can't link the PDF because of an extension I have but go to "Read the full plan" at the top:

He’s basically got it in the bag now. Low key the democrats were running adds for the MAGA dude Cox hoping that he’d win which would make any democrat who won the primary a shoe in. Democrats would have a much tougher time if the chick that Hogan wanted to be his succored woulda won the Republican primary

Yup, just the fact of him being a black man and a governor elevates his status, his young, black family, moderate. This are what you want, i thought this would be gillum but it didnt pan out as desantis won. He has a real opportunity.
Gillman turned out to be a disaster.

This guy hits so many demos, he can go far; military, left-leaning moderate, Oxford educated, black family, CEO, nonprofit, hits the urban demo. It's hard to go against him. What's his personality like? Never heard an interview from breh yet.

This brother is young, 43, got a black wife, black family, isnt c00ning it up for white folks. If he plays his cards right he can one day run for president. A two term maryland black governor? He might be what he hoped gillum would be before the whole sex scandal

What economic policies and access is he going to allow black people to have that will allow them to keep a lock on Maryland, though?

Well we know it wouldn't be reparations. So what policies can he pass that will allow and compel more Black people to have more economic prosperity and more independence?
