The ps4 pro launched at $600 and people were ok with that.

To get the PS5 pro as advertised by sony it will cost around $900

So yeah, if people were hoping for $600, they would definitely be disappointed by the price reveal today

Consoles are owned and driven by mainstream customers. The whole point of a console is so that people can play games and not break the bank.

sony telling their customers the PS5 is inadequate after not living up to the promises they made with that console, and now asking for $900 more just to play TLOU2 again IS a slap in the face.

Some of you will defend it to no end, but fans being upset is more than justified right now

They are not flipping some magical switch that's going to turn the PS5 off once the PRO releases.
