Canelo is an icon. He doesn't really need all the crazy hype like that. People just buy his fights regardless. A David fight will do around 1.5 mil. A bud fight will do well over 2 million. Also canelo learning English was a big boost to his popularity. This is another example of why taking L's isn't the end of the world. Canelo has only gotten more popular after his loss to bivol.

The funniest part about Spence stans. Is they didn't just believe Spence would beat canelo. They believed he would WALK canelo down and stop him.....I don't think we'll ever see a more delusional stanbase than Spence's ever again. Their brains should be donated to science for research purposes.
