Spence Facetimed jermell after the fight

Seeing jermell cry in the locker room was :mjcry:

I think he really believed he could win leading up to the fight. But once he got in there he realized he was in over his head.

Canelo power is no joke. IT would be one thing if Mell moved up normally or was a Deontay wilder/Tank freak KO power, but Mell couldn't do shyt with Canelo so he said fukk it he gotta survive :mjcry: :mjlol: Mell landed some good shots, and they didn't do shyt to Canelo, and one thing I noticed was Jermall looked huge compared to Mell in the locker room

Sorry but I have no sympathy for Jermell. No one told you to take this fight. He should have done two things

- Be satisfied with fighting in this cash grab, cash your check and go home
- If you are actually serious in trying to win, Actually take chances in this fight in a competitive loss and be respected for going out on your shield

Then to top it off in the post game interview after the fight "At least i didn't get knocked out" and then begging to be put in the Hall of Fame

He dug his own hole, now he has to live with it

This canelo performance put everybody back on notice. Not just about the power but about the SKILLS. People really forgot just how technical canelo is. When he gets everything working together he's scary. Even bud looking like he's having doubts about going to 168 now. Bringing up a canelo interview from 3 years ago about moving to 160 for Spence:pachaha:....that's why I say bud just try to unify at 154 first. Then make the jump. Cause the canelo we seen last week is gonna be a very tall task. For anybody. Bud got the skills I'm just not sure he has the defense. And Canelo just has to catch him once. Technically speaking, Canelo is far better than anything bud has experienced.

On the contrary. Bud himself didn't dig up this interview, he was replying to someone else who posted it yesterday

Bud is actually saying Canelo was more than willing to make the fight with Spence and using the "willing to come down to 160" to show how eager he was to fight Spence and all of a sudden him "getting no credit for winning against a smaller man" didn't matter :deadrose:

Canelo was referencing the people who were hating on this jermell fight. He was saying you guys are already talking shyt about me fighting a guy coming up two weight classes. Now you want me to fight a guy coming up 3 :what: ....basically telling everyone to make up their minds and be consistent.

He was perfectly fine fighting Spence which is the same weight class that Terence Crawford is in AND willing to go down in weight. No way to spin that lol

crawford and canelo need to clean up their divisions. wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to fight now. canelo needs to take care of benavidez and andrade, crawford still needs to take care of tszyu and charlo. they become the last men standing if they can and the fight would make a little more sense to people. crawford is unlikely to beat canelo. but theres some guys i just don't pick against. i never picked against floyd. i never picked against manny. i'm not picking against crawford.

Once again. That video was THREE years ago when canelo had barely moved up to 168. So canelo probably felt he could still make that cut.

Just last year when he got asked about moving down to 160 for Spence he said no. It's 168 or nothing. Not sure what's confusing about this. Canelo could make that cut 3 years ago. He no longer can. Bodies change over time. That's just science.

Once again. This was from one year ago.

Canelo clearly states here he's not going down period. So bud kinda making it look like he's having second thoughts. He was prolly sitting ringside hearing them canelo body shots like :picard: .....bud should be looking at unifying 154. Let canelo handle benavidez first. Test Jermell and tszu's power first.

Canelo knows it will be embarrassing if he loss to Bud. He couldn't ko Charlo, but he's gonna just kill Bud? I don't see it. Bud by decision

Ok again Crawford is fine with fighting at 168 for Canelo. Don't know what spin is this saying he's begging to fight at 160 :deadrose:

The point of Crawford retweeting the Twitter post is that Canelo is perfectly fine with fighting someone 3 weight classes below him AND go down in weight. It paints the point that Canelo is perfectly fine with fighting someone in a lower weight class, but all of a sudden when it comes to Crawford "He has nothing to gain and won't get credit" fighting him. I'm not a Canelo hater , he's cool to me. But come on breh lol

Key word on your post is "WAS"... that interview was way back in 2020 when he entertained the idea of fighting Spence at 160.. This was 8 fights ago. Before the injuries and surgeries when he was still in his 20s.. If at age 33 he's no longer willing to go down in weight then :yeshrug:

Jesus Christ fam. You're just gonna keep ignoring the fact that video was from 3 years ago :pachaha:

I literally laid everything out right there for you to see. But if you wanna run with the narrative that canelo is scared of bud be my guest. Canelo even said that he's not gonna get credit. But if it makes sense he's down for it. So basically, if he gets paid what he deserves then let's make it happen. But low-key it seems like bud's energy is switching up.
