so my thoughts
garcia vs resendiz set this PPV off right...the future of middleweight division was on display..the only thing i have to say is garcia is a young man...he should not be getting into too many slugfests like this early in his career..its ok to move your head or block or take the shot on the gloves..duck...all that shyt man..but he has some vicious combination punching..resendiz pressure and power i thought would break garcia during certain moments of the fight but again he took too many clean shots and he was the first to crack.
ugas vs barrios was more entertaining than it should be..i was hoping it would have ended in the distance...and really it should have..barrios is limited but he was putting his foot in ugas ass..ugas was getting so badly beaten that his punching became comical...tried over and over to land an overhand right with no real success...his eye though was a mess...spence really did some damage to it and it came into play...truthfully ugas should think about retirement..he isn't slick or awkward and getting up there in age..barrios is still in play for now...waiting until a real contender or ex champion puts his foot in his ass again..shorty i was with had her hands on her face at the damage ugas got lol
ramos vs lubin was very disappointing for a co main..ramos fought one dimensional; lubin was working....the funny thing was the contrast in the corners...cunningham is telling lubin he is losing the fight; ramos corner telling him he got it in the bag and cruise...truthfully i did see a 115-113 win for ramos...it was close though..so i was kind of surprised by the scores that were announced in a way..but fukk it..lubin revived his career and positioned himself for another title shot and ramos and team got something to think about..the boos that lubin received though...fans were not fukking with it at all
canelo vs charlo...talk about a big disappointment..lions only
..i knew something was up when during the all access this nikka had his family all up in the scene..in the pool not looking bothered at all..talmbout he isnt the one to be on some solitude shyt..meanwhile canelo was training like a demon knowing damn well ppl thought he was/is washed and knew what was on the line for him...with that being said i still think age and hard fights and injuries took a lot of slickness away from dude's style but he did the best thing he could against someone not acclimated to a new division coming off a layoff..powerbox...canelo put his foot in his ass doing what he was doing befoe...charlo learned i guess weight class are there for a reason...he couldnt hurt canelo at all..canelo moved forward and threw hard shots at dude..charlo resigned early and said fukk it...no fight no nothing...after talking about his legacy this and all that shyt..that KD where canelo landed a hard right oncharlo forehead damn near scrambled his equilibrium was just
..charlo fought with no fire or anything..it was bad...his p4p status and rep is going to take a hit..for canelo hopefully benavidez or andrade is next..i cant fault he fought the right fight with right results...more power to him
PPV had potential to be good on paper but it ended kind of mid...the way ppl left the theater i was in once the results was announced was telling lol
