Looking like canelo wasn't cappin when he said he wasn't 100% in his recent fights. He looked much sharper tonight. Think he's got a few more great fights left in him. His punches had that SNAP on em. Fast and accurate. You could hear them shyts clearly. David won't be able to take many of those on the chin. I promise you. David's come forward plodding style is canelo's wet dream. And best believe his work rate will plummet just like everyone else.

Bud’s defense is Whitaker-esk. He just doesn’t fight like that because he had to become a puncher to become popular. So he sits on his punches and takes chance to get his shyt off. If he didn’t want to Canelo couldn’t touch him but people would say it was boring or he ran all night and he don’t want to win like that I don’t think. Canelo was hard for Mell to hit because he wasn’t countering. Just waiting for Canelo to cover up so he could throw some weak ass shots

His defense is nowhere that level. Preposterous.

I don’t get why people think Benevidez is such a boogie man. It’s a good fight but I pick Canelo. I am just concerned about Canelo stamina.

Overall it was a decent card. I picked canelo to win by late stoppage cause I felt the extra weight would make jermell sluggish but he felt power early became gunshy and only tried to survive.

Ugas definitely at the end and they should have stopped that fight earlier. Go ahead and get a send off fight and retire. Barrios earned a few more paydays with that one. Ugas eye ain't the same and it was sad to see that.

The lubin vs Ramos was interesting to me. I felt lubin was boxing well but not throwing enough initially in the early to mid rounds. I do think Ramos clearly lost the last 4 rounds or so and that puts you at risk on the cards. I bet $40 on a lubin upset and came away with $120 on that so I can't complain. But I thought the fight was closer and Ramos could have edged it.

Would love to see canelo vs Andrade/benavidez winner. I don't think Bud should move up to 168 but when someone asking for it you give them what they want. Jermell asked for it and he received it.

Bud got the skill to win but I think 21 pounds is too much especially vs a dude who has a granite chin and power. It's hard to avoid canelo for 12 rounds. He eventually gonna land something clean and powerful.
