Just got back from work. Had to watch the fight there.

@patscorpio we need to find the post you made when Wilder won the arbitration, predicting that this would happen :dead:

I can’t even shyt on AJ for this fight because I didn’t even think he looked terrible necessarily. He just came in with a bad gameplan. There were things that worked for him. He shouldn’t have wasted his time trying to box. He needed to impose his will and I know that’s easier said than done. But even Chisora did a better job using his size over Usyk (initially). He can come back from this but he can’t come in smiling and taking selfie’s. He needs to come in there with the intent to harm Usyk.

The flip side to it is that I really don’t think Usyk looked unbeatable in there and he could improve himself.

Anyway, time for Fury to get this work next

His payday will be Fury/Wilder.

AJ came out like Rocky 3. Totally underestimated a fighter that probably trained in his basement. Outclassed and outsmarted. Saw this coming as soon as I saw how focused Usyk was.
I don’t think he underestimated Usyk he just gave him too much respect

Box the banger and bang the boxer.

Interested to see who AJ will bounce back against and who he will hire for his corner. I’d say Floyd but the politics will hold that up. Derrick James? He has to get some new coaching at this point.

Folks shytting on AJ for losing to arguably the top pfp boxer in a competitive fight is bizarre to me. No way y'all watched Usyk in the cruiser tourney if today was a shock to you.

Tbf, Usyk at heavyweight before this fight looked NOTHING like he did today. He looked pretty sluggish and cumbersome in the previous fights.

He was dancing all around AJ he could barely touch him tonight. Took him a couple fights but safe to say he has found his feet at heavyweight now.

Let's say Wilder manages to beat Fury - do you think he'll take an undisputed fight with Usyk?

Contractually, Usyk has to fight Joshua again before any talk of undisputed title comes up.

It's just like earlier in the year when Fury's team was trying to set up a undisputed fight with AJ but Wilder was still there with a contractual rematch looming over

And I'm pretty sure Fury and Wilder holding up the WBC title for this long, there are mandatory obligations for the winner that will not be ignored again. Meaning whoever wins October 9th has to fight someone like Dillian Whyte before setting up the undisputed title fight.

But regardless, its finally looking like we will have the undisputed title fight somewhere in 2022. It would be either spring 2022 or summer 2022 depending on if the WBC mandatory heavyweight contender pulls an upset on Fury or Wilder to delay things a bit more regardless of the outcome of Usyk Joshua 2

As in the way he use it…atleast he use it to set up his right hand and to disguise his right hand..Of course he not pounding u with it..but ain’t no way wilder landing that right hand without a decent jab. His jab atleast got a purpose. In my eyes a jab ain’t got to necessarily land to fulfill its purpose. Wilder use his as a range fighter/blinder/glove mover..Yall telling me the damn near the most potent right hand in history get setup without using the jab.:dwillhuh:

His KO of Ortiz 2 and Brazielle shows u what I’m talking about..and I’m not no wilder stan.
