76ers turn down Brogdon + 1st for Ben Simmons offer, will only trade him for an All-Star

I'm not a big fan of Brogdon's game, even with Embiid there. It's a bit too vanilla, I don't see him as a real second guy that will be able to take the pressure off of Embiid. I feel that he is the new Jrue Holiday, he'll be considered "super underrated" but then be virtually invisible when he gets to a big time team.

Brogdon is not someone you'd be willing to throw assets to acquire him

Haven't played a fully healthy season in his career and he already 28 years old. Sixers can get more from Simmons, if they are actually smart.

The problem is while Simmons is a great defensive piece, his offensive incompetence is very limiting and he only fits on a certain style of team(wherever he goes there needs to be a stretch 5 so Ben can live in the paint cause he can't fukking shoot).

I think Brogdon + Warren + future 1st is a great deal for Simmons. Whatever they lose from his defense, they make a quantum leap offensively(and it's not like Brogdon or Warren are bad defenders). They're in the ECF easily next year healthy with that team, IMO.

Considering Warren, Brogdon and Embiid’s injury history, that’s more than likely not going to happen. There was a reason Indy was able to get Warren on the cheap cheap from Phoenix. Don’t forget that he hasn’t played since the bubble.

I think they’d rather keep Simmons at that point tbh.

Bledsoe wasn’t a complete scrub during his time in Milwaukee, so let’s not have revisionist history about it. He was an All Defensive Player 2 of the 3 years that he was there.

LOL @ revisionist. I was making fun of it at the time it happened

If they had Brogdon, they would have already been in the Finals already. The Bucks are probably the dumbest title contending team in the past 10 years. And losing Brogdon made them even dumber

Brogdon couldn’t stay healthy in Milwaukee and he still can’t in Indy.
