I'm in the camp that thinks Prime Embiid doesn't need that much more to get to the Finals. Brogdon and a 1st is not a terrible deal for Ben Simmons IMO. It's not James Harden like what was rumored at the deadline, but Philly runs the risk of Ben's value diminishing even further if they run it back and his game is the exact same. And with Embiid's health being a factor, it's a gamble to see if Philly waits to see if Ben improves or just uses him to fill out the roster and it's flaws.

What kind of package would you deal Simmons for? I'm sure they would love Zach Lavine or a Brad Beal, but I'd say Philly is not getting those guys. Also... is a CJ package better than Brogdon and a 1st?
:jbhmm:

I guess what I'm asking is, what exactly do you think Simmons can get back for Philly right now after this last postseason?

Facts. That’s exactly what Philly wants…a Zach Lavine or Beal. Because that’s what they need for their current team. They need a dude who can take over from the perimeter…because Tobias Harris ain’t it at all. He gets to skate by cause Simmons is taking all the heat but he is straight dodo when it comes to big games. So they need someone reliable and Brogdon isn’t the right type of player for them imo …CJ is the only player who might be available that can do what they need for their team right now

Why should he have had to offer that much when what Houston received from Brooklyn in the end was compelete shyt :mjlol:
You don’t get it. It’s not about what you want to give, it’s about when Houston wanted and their philosophy on trades involving stars, and what they value in return. The general perception of the trade means shyt to Stone and Houston. They don’t give a fukk about @Thavoiceofthevoiceless perception of what their return should be. They wanted draft picks and lots of them because their window for contention was over. They didn’t care about treading with Levert or Simmons.

Cuz here’s the thing. They have a young talented cornerstone in Wood. They’re about get another one in Green at the #2 pick. They’ll probably get another lottery pick next year. That’s three potential cornerstones. And the Nets picks havent even been conveyed yet. In 2023 when wall contract is up and they have their three cornerstones with some experience(and I haven’t even mention the KPj) maybe a disgruntled star is unhappy that summer. Hosuton have the assets( FRPs and plenty of them) that team who are trading away stars value.

They should have made the move for Kyle Lowry during the trade deadline considering they won't have the contracts in the offseason to match without getting other teams involved.

There is a major difference between those two sets of players and you're lying if you say otherwise. Middleton/Holiday is a better duo than Harris/Brogdon. Giannis is better than Embiid IMO sorely based on the fact that he doesn't have the long term health concerns that Embiid does. As I said before, it was a reason why Harris bounced around the league before Philly got him as other teams were quick to get rid of him if it meant upgrading to a superstar player.
There is no major difference between those 2 duos :mjlol:

Lavine or Beal is the guard they need. Tobi is not a 3 level scorer like Middleton.
Lavine is a pure scorer, they need a lead guard who can facilitate as well as score. Also Chicago is not trading Lavine for Simmons.

Washington as much of a mess as they are, are not trading Beal for Simmons.

You don't trade a player hoping your opposition gets injured.... It's ok to admit that team ain't beating the nets...how is that trolling :unimpressed:
So we can talk about Brogdon's injury log but not KD or Kyrie's? :unimpressed:

It's okay to admit that there's no better guard coming to Philly and y'all grasping for straws. The Beals and Dames of the world aren't coming.

Can you refer to any statement of mine that mentions “Brogdons injury log” sir or are we going to continue this trolling act just to avoid stating the obvious.... That ain't beating the Nets :unimpressed:

Half the thread it saying don't take Brogdon because of injuries. If injuries matter for him they matter for the team you keep bringing up. That trio can be a depleted Nets :unimpressed:We can go as long as you need to

Thats a pretty good deal especially with getting the 1st but I am guessing they want a bigger name. I can see DLO being that guy
