There could've been "Hollywood Hulk Hogan vs Goldberg in the Georgia Dome" levels of excitement for Punk & Joe's match if it got more build than some tweets and a short video package on Dynamite.
A well-written angle could've gone a long way, and maybe gotten some new eyes on Collision. This kind of feels like a missed opportunity.

Don't imagine AEW or WWE will be going back to Saskatchewan anytime soon.

WWE ran a house show at that same arena last year and only drew 3,591. Wikipedia says it has a capacity of 6K. Though I would assume at minimum a few hundred are taken out of the picture because of the stage/entrance ramp and what's needed for hard cam and production for a TV taping. I would assume less are off-limits for a house show.

Another show WWE did in Saskatoon last year only drew 3,596.

AEW's ticket sales in Brandt Centre obviously much shyttier, but both companies can do considerably better than Saskatchewan. You would think it would be a bigger wrestling area. Stu Hart and Roddy Piper are both from Saskatoon and Brock Lesnar lives in Saskatchewan. Guess the popularity of it died out after Stampede Wrestling closed up shop in 1989.
