When did the doctor come out in the 4th round? Dr probably low key wanted to stop the fight then but had been pressured otherwise. Spence was still in the fight, but knew shyt could get bad soon. Why they allowed him to fight till 9, idk. Fight coulda been stopped at 6, definitely at the end of 7.

You gotta understand. These PBC guys looked up to Spence like the top rank guys looked up to bud. Especially with the folklore of him beating up Floyd in sparring. They seen him come up and brutalize guys. Spence really built up this reputation for being the terminator and he deserved it.
So for a lot of them guys like jermell and tank it's shocking to see that guy they looked up to not just get beat. But brutally savaged. Adrien broner looked like he was gonna cry too. The shyt is hitting them deep. But it also let's them know just how truly special bud is. He came into the PBC lions den and essentially put their toughest warriors head on a stick. It was truly one of the most shocking moments in boxing history. I'm not surprised they're in dismay.

I think his speech did slow down after the accident, however I'd also say a large part of that is his dentures.
Dude is obviously a little more self-conscious about himself and his teeth. When you got removable dentures like he does, that do fall out, he has to do an extra check to make sure they don't go flying when he speaks. Most people don't have to make the same check and it will naturally slow speech and confidence down.
