The bigger issue is that he's getting caught so flush on the chin that his mouthpiece is getting knocked out. Two fights in a row now. You rarely see bud getting caught with those type of punches. Even when he gets hit he's very good at rolling with em. Spence is gonna have to tighten up his inside defense because bud is gonna start timing him very quickly. He stays getting caught with his hands down.

We've been saying this for years about his defense but it hasn't gotten any better. It's why I think Bud could stop him. You can catch & buzz/hurt Spence in exchanges; he's very vulnerable in them from what I've seen over the years but he hasn't fought anyone with serious power to really hurt him in one; even though Ugas hurt him pretty bad. If you go back and watch that brook fight dude was getting caught so often and clean with telegraphed shots. Brook was also doing a great job timing his jab. Spence has tried to get better with the head movement but he still has these moments where he just freezes up at weird times. Bud is gonna start reading him by the 3rd round. Don't be surprised if bud makes this look easier than everyone thinks.

I see Spence starting fast like with Mikey..using the jab dictating the pace. Crawford never starts fast..let's the fight come to him..everyone who supports Crawford is OBSESSED with this thought he's gonna catch Spence with some spectacular Roy Jones counter..not taking into account that Spence has ridiculous cardio and will bring smart boxing pressure. Jab his way in and will connect with that right hook on Crawford, yeah...Crawford has long arms but he eats right hands all the time.

Has the mouthpiece been knocked out before the accident? Spence said himself he still hasn't found a mouthpiece that fits perfectly. Right up until the Danny Garcia fight he was still getting surgery on his grill. That's more of an equipment failure. Regardless of the mouth piece stuff, even BEFORE the surgery, as y'all have said, Spence ain't no stranger to getting caught flush/clean but he has a good sneaky way of hiding when he's a bit wobbled/dazed. His recovery time is A1 but he's vulnerable to get caught with something.
it just blows my mind dudes act like we haven't seen Budrick twerking in the ring after a clean shot
