Yeah he was able to move... backwards from all the punishment he was taking. When he was on his backfoot he kept getting cut off. Fulton still has lateral quickness, but he needed to do that the entire time and Inoue didn't let him.
He was moving side to side but it didn't matter because that jab was in his face all night & bloodied him by the 2nd/3rd round. Monster did cut the right off well but the jab was the reason he dominated & stifled Fulton's offense

bro did you pick fulton with your heart or mind?
I didn’t pick him at all. I wanted him to win because I’m PBC until the wheels fall off but I knew better.

Too many variables were not in his favor and I knew he had no power to keep Inoue off him. I didn’t expect a beating like that though.

Calling him a black channel hype job like the previous poster was doing was uncalled for as hell. I bet if I look at his post history he probably hates Al Haymon :mjpls:

Yeah Inoue beating him to the jab suprised me. But if the only time I see Fulton moving side to side is on the ropes, which most of it was on the ropes cause Inoue kept putting him there, and Fulton's whole style is based around lateral movement it's only a matter of time.

I mean they prop up every black fighter in a fight against a non black fighter :manny:

Personally I don't agree with it but in boxing, a lot of people side with their race and/or countryman

A lot of Youtube boxing channels are a joke, really. Too much fanboy bullshyt and not enough rational analysis. A lot of of these guys realize the void that exists in boxing on Youtube and pander to casuals. They don't actually have any substance, just nationalistic shyt that they know will draw people.

The jab was important, but when I saw Fulton trying to fight on his front foot because he was getting cornered on his back foot the countdown had begun. You can't win a fight when you constantly get cut off, AND you don't have the power to make the guy a little gun shy. Canelo was able to beat GGG because while GGG kept cutting him off, Canelo had the power to keep GGG honest, Fulton doesn't have that.
Yeah, basically this.

The flip as well, when Fulton got Inoue corned then it didn't really matter as the other guy is the one with the punching power.

If anything, when you've cornered someone with punching power you've played into their game. That's the 3d ring generalship, and again something Floyd was terrific at doing.

Honestly if I was him I would just stay in Japan and soak up in Japanese p*ssy for like a month. They'll prolly treat him like a god out there. They just love fighters win or lose. It'll be good to be admired for a while before heading back home.

One thing that blew me away was the class of the Japanese crowd. They showed Fulton more respect in defeat for merely taking the fight than Americans would have shown him for BEATING Inoyue. Dude got a standing ovation on his exit and he didn't even address the crowd or give a ring interview. You just KNOW they loving him out there.

Meanwhile Haney gets booed cursed out and attacked by crowd members for winning in his hometown.

Like I said...if he won....he deserves all the credit in the world. Commentary crew was crazy..making him out to be Sugar Ray Robinson and Manny combined...lol. Great dominant win nonetheless.

Mainly surprised by how easily Inoue outboxed Fulton
This was supposed to be a matchup of power vs slick boxing. Inoue had the speed, power, and boxing advantage. Fulton pretty much had no chance in this fight. Inoue had him gunshy from the rip. Fulton blocked a lot of shots but his body was getting torn up with those jabs
