:snoop: breh, dont do this.
To be clear, I said closest thing, not that he is Floyd.

Specifically, the way he controls the fight don't come around very often.

Dude doing it to another very talented boxer in their prime, moving up in weight with no tuneup fight, is something that you rarely see.

Like I said in an earlier post, at more than one point dude made Fulton the aggressor, knowing he has the power advantage.
That's a whole deeper level of ring generalship where you make the other fighter completely unaware of what they're doing.

Walk them down, cut the ring off.
Pull it back to reset at the center to box them there.
Make them reach, over-extend and miss.
Pull them back towards you rather than have them get on their bike again.

Really fine work. Complete control of that fight.

They showed Fulton more respect in defeat for merely taking the fight than Americans would have shown him for BEATING Inoyue

This what I was trying to get across but it looked like Bias.

I’m proud of both for swiftly making a great fight for us. Stepping in there with the likes of Inoue is no joke and moving up to fight a Champion like Fulton is no joke either.

Unless they act like a hoe or lose all your sense, I’ll respect a fighters performance.

that why i was kept saying fulton was never the baseline for monster being great

fulton is not a hype job at all...hype jobs are somebody like ryan garcia....fulton is a dog..and more often than not would give hell to other 122 lbers...but monster is a different breed of dog altogether

fulton said fukk the bullshyt lets make this fight....even though i was not a fan of what coach rahim was doing in the last couple of days but it wasnt from fulton's mouth..the best facing the best..i love it

boxing attracts the lowest common denominator so the discussions will be as such.

Always said this.

Boxing discussions have the lowest floor and highest ceilings any of sports discussions.

You can easily go from reading a @Yuzo breakdown to hearing about how Floyd was a bum cherry picking runner in this world.

Fulton was able to move bro, he was defensively sound catching a lot shots on the gloves & sliding across the ropes & wasn't there for too long to get tee'd off on. And when he did come foreward, he had more success than staying in the mid-range or fighting off the back foot. But it all came back to that jab which setup all of his shots & had Fulton guessing & reacting to feints. And Fulton's wide stance made it easier for Monster to land it

I think you are both right

He was catching but they were shots Inoue threw in anticipation that lead to him getting cut off, didn't matter if he moved left or right, Fulton kept using the same feint too/had no variation :francis: Only tough thing is seeing that in real time when you picked the other guy.

I had a decade of people unironically call Wladimir Klitschko, the heavyweight champ with the third most title defenses in history and a high knockout percentage......bytchko. :scust:
I knew right then and there that this sport has cerebral palsy sufferers for fans :scust:

Yall gotta realize black people on youtube are covering boxing in response to espn and promoter talking heads being racists and making black fighters do twice as much to be deemed impressive. Plus these are guys are literally sitting in the car or their basement how are they the focus of shytty boxing takes around here?
