You gotta be fukking up to get recycled in BMT :dwillhuh:

Think about it like this as a Drill Instructor you have 50-75 people in a Platoon if someone isn’t conforming or holding the platoon back it’s easier to just drop them then constantly have to worry about them so they will drop your ass with a quickness to be someone else’s problem

My brother, we almost gave that dude a blanket party due to getting 'smoked' for his dumb-ass multiple times.

When I got 'promoted' to Platoon Guide, I had to carry his ass almost a mile after he fell out on a run.

Had that SAME dude in my platoon for SOI. Took his ass out to the tree-line and knocked him out.

I am getting it from an Army Vet who gets 100% disability and also helps others get 100% disability. But I am guessing you probably know all about that right?

Maybe I don't have every detail right but I know it does play some sort of role.

But this is the same board that said you can't get almost 100K from disability even after I posted the link to the special payment chart and know at least 7 people who get it. One did administrative work his whole career.

Just because you are in or have been in the military doesn't mean you know how to take full advantage of it. In fact, the vast majority don't which is why I told dude to look into it, speak with someone who has already got the disability and go in with a serious plan.
As I said before, I just got out and you are completely wrong. I can get other board members in the military to tell you how wrong what you said is :mjlol:. Where you are from has NOTHING to do with how much money you get for BAH.

Nah he's making a good choice. If you join the right branch and get the right job, the military is a cheat code. Two of my friends just got out as CTNs and they both got jobs at Lockheed Martin on the spot. CTN is a good job because you do things that people at the NSA would do (for the most part). They both also managed to stack up nearly 150k while in :francis:. Meanwhile my job didn't transfer to the civilian world and I was only able to stack up 80k. Choose your rate choose your fate :yeshrug:. CTN is a really important rate and you automatically get a TOP secret clearance. A top secreat clearance can cost up to 15k in the civilian world breh, that's why civilian employers will kill to hire you once you have that TS clearance (along with the fact that you are a CTN with experience in hacking/networking). Also, CTNs don't got out to sea and a lot of them get stationed OCONUS (outside continental United States) but you can choose to stay statewide if you want. If a war were to happen CTNs would still just be on shore :francis:. They also have short hours :francis:.

ayyyo @GodBlessYou join the navy as a CTN it's a cheat code to a great life after the navy breh trusst me. All my friends that joined got hired at lockheed martin, Raytheon, and Boeing. You also won't go out to sea. The recruiter will try to give you other jobs, ignore him and walk away if he keeps trying to give you other jobs.

That's because most people go in without doing their research or they don't know someone who has been in. That makes a huge difference breh. The navy doesn't realease deatailed info on jobs in order to keep people in the dark (that way they can fill billets of certain jobs). All they give you are vague descriptions online. As someone who has been in I can tell him that the only rates that are worth it in the military (period) are intel rates, computer rates, legal rates (rates that work with military lawyers) ,career counselors, and linguists. Everything else is a toss up and too much of a risk.

All he needs to do his research and find something he wants to do which also can help him in the civilian world all he needs to do is 1) always do things to further his career and education
2) don’t let people take advantage of him and treat him like a bytch
If you do those two things then the military is easy

This is especially important. one of my friends was a BM and he hated his life :yeshrug:. The BM1's would treat them like shyt, calling them all kinds of names :picard:. If you tried that in my department you would go to mast :umad:. Choose your rate, choose your fate.

Yup being young and black in the military is tough at first because you always have to be on your shyt because people are gonna be looking for a reason to shyt on you but once you establish yourself it’s smooth but you’re gonna have to be prepared to hit people
With the :ufdup:early on because once they sense they can do it to you then everyone will :mjpls: and if you try and check em at that point you’re just the angry black dude and they gonna play victim

It has no role and everyone on this board who is in the military will tell you the same :mjlol:. Your friend's disability amount depends on where he is living RIGHT NOW, not where he joined from. The only thing that is affected by where you join from is the 9/11 GI bill since you get full tuition if you're a resident of that state. /thread just leave brehette you clearly know nothing on this topic:stopitslime:.

Breh, we had something similar happen before I got out. We had a racist upper chain of command so we addressed that issue to the commanding officer via the yearly command climate survey. The racist chief and first class got force transferred and our upper chain of command became damn near black. Now the white kids feel like they're being "discriminated on" because the EP (early promote) eval recipients were all black :shaq2:. These white boys man :heh:. The angry black dude thing is especially true. These white dudes know that you can challange them so they try to paint you in a bad light. This only works if you're not outgoing.
