Could someone recommend me some stocks outside of Cannabis and Tech. I'm thinking biotech, transportation of goods, or any other nascent industries that may be taking off. Any thoughts appreciated.
Anyone by chance?

I wish I could feel "settled" with this job. Each day I become increasingly uncomfortable...bored with what I'm doing. Then I keep trying to tell myself to chill, it hasn't even been 6 months. At the same time I know when things don't feel right. ugh
Saw a position for a QlikSense Developer...it was Junior but salary was ~$116k, according to Indeed. I called to get more details on it. I am technically a "Jr" developer as far as skills go, but my experience is Sr. Level. I don't know. It's about locale and money at this point. I doubt if I ever like my job, but I can be fairly comfortable and not commuting nearly an hour. Damn I wish knew what to do. Don't want to stay and be complacent, but also don't want to make another mistake job wise.
Overheard my co-workers talking about how soft the real estate market as been. Growth has definitely stagnated. The DC area is pretty expensive but if things go south I'm sure I can get a firesale, fixer upper for cheap. Put a little more capital into it and start building equity.
The first house you buy doesn't necessarily have to be the one you raise your kids in.
Its gonna be a while until you get to the level of doing remote work.Brehs, which is better? At home or on site work? I’m finishing up a program in May that’s gonna get me my A+, Linux Essentials, Server, Net, and Sec +. I’m really interested in just doing remote shyt from home but I wanna hear from brehs already certed up on their experience in this.
Houston keep meHow are you alls job matkets? ATL is NOT a tech city, tech companies that are here seem to just be here because they can underpay hence why ATL gets called the Bangalore of the south lol.

You are going to have to build up to that.
That program you are in is great, but its gonna be some desktop support until you get into the Server Admin, and other stuff that you can do remotely.
But you are on a excellent path.
ATL has a great tech scene and relative pay to the region is on the higher end.How are you alls job matkets? ATL is NOT a tech city, tech companies that are here seem to just be here because they can underpay hence why ATL gets called the Bangalore of the south lol.

San Antonio is a major. Augusta Ga is going to be a very big player.
Florida panhandle is ramping up as well.
Nashville and Huntsville have big tech sectors regionally as well.
You can easily make 125k+ in ATL and thats very good in the south.
Thats the vast majority of companies outside of silicon valley or the northwest. to be honest.although I brought up money, I'm more so talking about Culture. Many of these companies have technology leaders who don't know what the hell they are doing.
