How do you all feel about crypto right now? Like if my new job happened to be with a company in the crypto space, would you be nervous?
Extremely nervous. That shyt tanking and people are so disingenuous that they will wait until the last minute before disclosing the full situation.
It anything just stay prepared to leave. This time of the year sucks finding a new role. Ride it out to the new year.

Anyone else find themselves feeling a little stagnant in their career? I’ve been consulting for about 4+ years now when I was originally in a software dev role. I still work closely in the dev space but since I’ve been consulting my workload and day-to-day tasks have dropped significantly. There are times when I’m very busy but overall I have a ton of free time which, honestly, I usually spend bullshytting(catching up on sports, video games, etc…) instead of working on my craft.
I’ve been far less hands-on with the coding and it’s a concern for me as I want to eventually fall back to that career path. It’s even something that comes up in interviews; they try to put my feet to the fire whenever I go for software engineering roles now even though I have 4+ years of experience doing it and I’m still technically doing it, just in a more loose manner.
I get paid decently but with inflation and the current market there are definitely some bags I’m missing out on. My job and company are both very cushy and it’s gonna take some convincing for me to move on but I’m worried that me being lazy and too complacent is gonna catch up to me…

I interviewed for a company that got bought out by Meta last year and it turns out an old coworker ended up getting the job.
More recently, a friend of mine just got a job that I had made it to the final round for.
It just seems like the industry is small. Or maybe the really good jobs are few and far between.

This certification exam been kicking my ass. Legit depressed and feeling like I'm not capable. I'm going to try again Friday and honestly if I don't pass, fukk all this shyt. I'll figure something else out.

we had a competitor founded by a black dude, but he'd antagonize our company/CEO and play the black victim card all the fukking time...had me feeling like a c00n cuz i'm like "cmon breh, this wasn't no race issue there", would've rooted for him if he didn't use being black as a defense shield...anyway, they lost their funding and are going under 
For months I've told my team to build out our new infra with using the latest version of terraform..for months!!!....tell me why a few of the devs are using 0.13 and using local state files. Now we have a bunch of remote state files that are of no use...its going to be a interesting meeting tomorrow
