I want to give this job at least a year. The manager has been off my back since I've been covering my ass with more detail. I keep our meetings short and sweet. and just pound her with work detail. No friendly banter. :|

Their data is bogus, but on the bright side I'm learning a bunch of Qlik scripting techniques because I have to code in so many exceptions, and my data models are clean af now :whew:

Also, going to give this overworked thing a try. I replied to a recruiter about a remote Qlik BI role with a healthcare company. I was introduced to Qlik using healthcare data and I really enjoyed it.

My manager set one of my end of year goal for me to obtain the Qlik Business Analyst cert by the end of November. I'm going to go for it next month. lol that way if it doesn't go well, I have time to retest :heh:

Recovering from Covid after 2 weeks of vacation. Bunch of work piled up, but I'm not trying to exert myself.

Thank God for WFH.

Wish my company would stay out the fukking news for once. Good fukking grief.

I was in the same situation. Thank goodness for WFH.

What did Wells Fargo do now?

i'm definitely seeing how/why old people get left behind technologically. my company is always rolling out a new tool, it's like any company who prospects us, the enterprise team is buying their software. i don't care to master a million different tools, stop force installing this shyt on my computer, i'm not learning anything else 😩

i am also really annoyed at recruiters right now, they just hit you with "opportunities" that have no level attached to them, i go look up the company and i'm like, "looks really interesting"...go look at the job openings to figure out what role they might be talking about, nikka, why are you emailing me for jr level roles that only need 2-4 years experience :gucci:, i'm insulted :hhh:

This happened to me over the last month. But after actually talking to recruiters, the job wasnt actually posted yet. but these were for leadership roles.

Just holla at them and see what's what.

yea, one who had a product i think would be dope to work on, i told them hit me when they're hiring a head of product marketing. if it's a company i think is interesting i just anchor to a higher title, if they can flex up, cool, if not, hopefully it serves as a passive aggressive reminder to not spam profiles with openings.
