Get a Steelcase or Hermon Miller. The site below can take a bit based on inventory, but they are pretty cheap.

Yep, they are legit. I ordered during peak Covid so it did end up taking ~2 months. Was worth it though.

There are days where the only thing I do is show up for the required Zoom meetings and that’s it.
I'm sure I could just set my status to Busy and just walk away for the whole day and be fine sometimes. I swear I spend half the day on The Coli.

started a new gig about a month ago and am currently in a similar situation. pay is a substantial uplift from my last job, and the perks are great but the amount of time I spend doing nothing is lowkey starting to make me uncomfortable.
speaking of perks, what is the the official 6 cert endorsed learning platform
they give a $500/yr allowance for professional development so i wanna put some of this dead time to use while i have it.
for coding im feeling dataquest, prolly gonna cop a premium sub for that but theres so many options for the more IT related stuff... what yall think?

I’m help desk. The company I work for got bought out and I onboarded at the new company back in March, right before work from home started.
So I’m in a year long contract doing projects to integrate the old company stuff with the new. So like switching people over to new tools, backing up old data.
I can’t leave because there as bonuses for staying. And I want a full time role at this place. I’ve been studying, trying to network with people, and taking on other projects to try to get in.
at work on this zoom call...convo sidetracked...white ppl talking about doing the floss...and actually doing it on camera...extremely random and unexpected
