Any books recommendations on agile? already use it at my company and day to day however i want to brush up my knowledge @The Chief @patscorpio belive you guys are pms?
What flavor are you all using? Scrum? SAFE? I took the Scrum Alliance courses (jobs paid for the certs) but tons of youtube videos can give you good overviews.
thats the thing We are using agile but not correctlywe have daily standups, retros, backlogs
if an org says they are using 'agile' they dont know what they are doing. Agile is a ideology, Scrum for example is a methodology to implement the ideology. Based on the ceremonies you all are doing I assume you are doing something Scrum like.
Do you all have Scrum Masters and Product OwnerS?
gotcha. yeah just go to the scrum alliance site or youtube. If your job will pay for it the Scrum Master course is a good cert.
Got a promotion and a significant pay increase as a result today. I've been working hard the past 6 months to make my case for one.

It's crazy that I'm doing the same work at home that I used to do at my job, but with a lot less distractions. Switching up my layout and surroundings made me realize how inefficient it was having YouTube videos on in the background. The amount of videos I used to watch to help me get through the workday was next level lol.
WFH seems to work the best for people that don't need to be micromanaged and by extension, don't have micromanaging supervisors. If you're in a role that doesn't have a lot of dependencies on other people you could probably knock out a full days work in 4-6 hours. Like right now, I'm done with everything I need to do today (and next week too technically) but to keep up appearances I gotta stay online.
I wish I had this case. My team has become a complete shyt show once we was told to work from home
. Ignoring internal, clients and counter parties emails, fukking up the money and can't do basic shyt right. I was on two phone meetings today where we were just getting chewed out for 30 and 60 mins 
. I have to finish learning Python and SQL soon so that I can find something else 
. Tired of getting full time employee lashings on a contractor tag and pay rate
