Realigned my investments in my IRA for 2020. Heres what I got with the YTD and 3 year returns next to it. Got about 45k in it right now, hoping to hit 60k by 2021 and putting in only $130 a month. Hopefully this next year better for the market than 2019 was. New trade deal with Canada and Mexico, plus hopeful talks with China should make things better. Hopefully this election year craziness doesn't cause any damage. Economy been booming and people are making money.
Got 3 at 8%, 1 at 10%, 1 at 15% and top 3 at 17% spread for all future deposits.

Half of them are technology related and I feel the market is going to keep going up in the new decade as new advances in not only home, but business, auto and medical tech drive up the industry. Gonna see what happens with these investments and come back a year from now and see where I stand.

Exactly yes theres a scheme the goverment is running for first time buyers that i want to take advantage off. London is go through a massiv gentrification places that where considered the Hood have been bought up by rich investors whites and indians and Pakistanis black people in london missed the oppertunity to buy property and are now getting kicked out

I've grown a sour taste with the American tech industry. I'm going to use 2020 to plot my 5 yr plan to international investments/business. The tech bubble in America is going to burst and it will be ugly.
Why is what?
1.bunch of useless start ups with idotic business models that will never be profitable thus their failure is inevitable.
2.bunch of out of touch older companies that would rather do stuff like open office plans, ping pong tables and snacks, instead of modernizing their comp/benefits (more than 1 day telecommute or just full remote, unlimited vacations, better bonus structures, better profit sharing if any,etc).
the older companies try to do alot of the buzzword stuff like focus on being lean and agile yet wont truly invest or shift their culture in what it takes to really be these things.
in short theres a buncha foolery.
then let me not even get on fake job postings/interviews that are used just to bring in a buncha H1b contractors.
