My goodness. Europe is on something else then. Even still 27K seems low. But like you said, you have an opportunity to double your salary in a year. We pulling for you breh :blessed:

I might as well live in the middle of the desert.:russ:

I'd rather keep my sanity and earn less as opposed to living in the middle of nowhere.:deadmanny:

I'll take my chances.:pachaha::mjcry::mjgrin:

I'm actually in the midst of learning C++:whoo:

It's good dough for a young breh.

Stack for 3-5 years. Go back to Mainland UK and buy some properties.

Yeah you'll miss a few raves and "chasing gash" but you'll also learn valuable insight into the online casino world.

No its not this is a a standard salary in london for grad / junior level job yes you can earn more of course but the average is 20-35k you guys are looking at salary through an american lens

I'm not breh, I've lived in europe. Business development jobs are 40k in England. I saw a digital RTB sales job for 60k plus 20% commission in london.

Hell someone reached out to me last week offering a London consulting gig for 3 months at 2k Sterling a week. I passed on it though.

Just focus on getting your skills up after work. Fck all that socialising at the pub nonsense.

This here. Commit a few years then go to London with actual capital to do things. Even on the Isle of Man, dude can take weekend trips to London when he wants to blow off some steam.

Well if you're anything like me, if you're paying for some sort of subscription service that you don't need, cancel that shyt asap. 3 months in a row so far I've cost myself money that I shouldn't have because I don't want to just get on the phone :snoop:
Finally got on the phone :blessed:. Called up the insurance company and said i want to cancel. She was like when does your new one go into affect. I said oh about 3 months ago:francis:. She said you had 2 policies for 3 months :usure:? I'm a chronic procrastinator :yeshrug:. Anyway, that's another 140 bucks saved, plus they're gonna refund the overlapping time, so I have maybe another 300 bucks coming back to me in the next week or two. This will get my finances back on track. Things looked a little off last month :guccard:

Need to get on the phone with my loan provider and make sure they have the right address. The statements look right but I got an alert from my credit monitoring service that has the address mistyped.

The key to getting jobs (outside of a personal network, which is king) is referrals, referral, referrals. Heard that that’s the only way companies even screen resumes nowadays, I’m talking large household name corporations anyway.

1000%.

If you ain’t getting referred then forget about it.

Expound upon this "referrals" malarkey? It's sounds like something I should know already? Break it down for me.:lupe:

Essentially for any position posted, people internally can formally refer a candidate. It's usually done through the HR technology on the back end. When you get referred, you'll usually get an email that goes like this:

"Hello Jimmy Two Times, Mr. John Smith referred you to the position of ABC Manager on the XYZ Team. Please follow the link below to apply for the position".

That's about it. It essentially puts your resume/application in another pile. Even then, for brand name firms, it's not a guarantee you'll get an interview.

What's best is to have someone give your resume directly to a hiring manager.

My mans said he did this program on his way out the military. They gave him free IT training, not sure on the certs he earned, but they got him a job immediately after getting out the army. I called them and they scheduled a video interview next week.

The skills rep was tryna jam me up for some disciplinary action taken against me 8 months ago. I’m not gonna stress though. I got my charges dismissed and if it’s meant to be it’ll be:yeshrug:if don’t nobody else believe in you, you gotta believe in yourself & bet on yourself.

I'm kinda sitting here thinking about 5G and how the technological landscape is going to change when it's more widely available. 4G data transfer speeds facilitated apps like Snapchat, Uber, and really every streaming service that's out there. I think IoT is almost certainly going to become a staple of the future. I'm going to have to look into this stuff a little more as we may be on the edge of another big step in tech. If I can't come up with a good idea (I'm a terrible idea man, but great at spitballing bullshyt details), somebody is going to come around that's worth investing in or latching onto.
